Has to be a joke, besides you don't measure aircraft usage in mileage, but in hours that are on the engine and airframe. Besides the Apache is a current usage aircraft in the US arsenal and only rarely do they release anything of the sort for civilian sales. Heck even most museum aircraft are just "on loan."

you never know just give it time about maybe 30 years they might replace the cobras in quick responce supression of forest fires starting up.

i know washington state got 2 of them

looks like that but more white, sure beats buying one and a civvie can run it if they have the training.

Nice I know there was some talk in the earl-mid 90's concerning using A-10s as fire tankers, since they would be more responsive, reliable and able to make more percise drops then current tankers.
