007-vf1 Posted September 26, 2004 Posted September 26, 2004 here are some of the finished pics of the model..as some of you might have followed on the original thread, there has been 3 different kitbashed models to accomplish this effect; the legs and arms including their respectively fast pack of the hasegawa battroid. The back pack plus the canon/ missile fast packs, fuselage and wings of the hasegawa fighter; and the arm swivel system and trusters/burners of the bandai kit.. Quote

Knight26 Posted September 26, 2004 Posted September 26, 2004 Nice, I'm assuming that the arms and legs can swing back to flight position? Quote
ChristopherB Posted September 26, 2004 Posted September 26, 2004 Awesome! You did a great job merging (3) different kits together. Quote
Grayson72 Posted September 26, 2004 Posted September 26, 2004 Nice kitbash man! Looks very convincing, the paintjob is done really well too. I think I would have left the intake covers on though. Quote
Ghost_Tech Posted September 27, 2004 Posted September 27, 2004 nicely done the paint job looks awesome! keep up the good work with all those kitbashes can it still transform? Quote

recon Posted September 28, 2004 Posted September 28, 2004 Great job 007-vf1!! Can see you spare no effort into making this custom a masterpiece by adding in details like wiring, hydraulics, and so on. Beautiful piece of art. Cheers Quote
jardann Posted September 28, 2004 Posted September 28, 2004 That's a great look on that gerwalk. You did an awesome job combining those kits, but the paint and decals really make the model. Where did those hands come from? Quote
Less than Super Ostrich Posted September 28, 2004 Posted September 28, 2004 In the words of Dick Vitale... "AWESOME BABY" I love it. Its probably one of the best Gerwalk's I've seen. Quote
007-vf1 Posted September 29, 2004 Author Posted September 29, 2004 (edited) nicely donethe paint job looks awesome! keep up the good work with all those kitbashes can it still transform? Unfortunately it can not, it wasn't designed to transform; but since the arms and legs are movable some extreme posing can be done. The biggest draw back is that the legs has to be detachable for the arms to change positions * My goal was make it close to this very unusual and awesome pose, and still make back to a standart gerwalk pose. Well, not only I accomplished this but it also has the boosters attached... Edited September 29, 2004 by 007-vf1 Quote
BlastoToys Posted October 1, 2004 Posted October 1, 2004 Wow! Excellent job. This really kicks but, nice paint job, decals, and kitbash. I wish I could do work like this Quote
