the white drew carey Posted September 26, 2004 Posted September 26, 2004 My animated avatar seems to have been cleaned off of the boards (it was uploaded in the Test Forum, but is not there anymore). Was this an intentional action, or did something mess up?
Max Jenius Posted September 26, 2004 Posted September 26, 2004 the thread may have been removed... just re upload
the white drew carey Posted September 26, 2004 Author Posted September 26, 2004 Okeedokee. I didn't want to re-upload until I got the word, just in case it was removed for a specific reason. Thanks Max!
azrael Posted September 26, 2004 Posted September 26, 2004 Hate to bring up an old nitpick, but why do people still post their avatars to the test forum? The board changes the name of the upload (attachments get a "post-*" prefix while avatars get "av-*" prefix) so that it would not get deleted (without admin intervention). As long as people learn to work with their restrictions (64x64 jpg/gif/swf/png/etc) I don't see a need to keep posting avatars to the test forum.

the white drew carey Posted September 27, 2004 Author Posted September 27, 2004 Everytime I try to upload my avatar, I've always gotten an error message.

Don't forget the less then 40k for the dialup weanies. That restriction doesn't work. WDC's new one is 116 and I think Kin's is like 300 something. I don't think it really matters though. Once its DL'd once it just reads locally. WDC, Awesome new avatar!
