Valkfan
Hello all. I have modified one of my reissue Bandai Hikaru 1J's so that it now has its own heatshield. First of all, I exchanged the Hikaru VF-1J nose section for a Roy VF-1S gray one. Then I placed one of Rohby's custom resin heatshields on it and had an instant Hikaru with removeable heatshield. The gray on the resin is a little lighter than the Hikaru but I'm sure that Rohby could have gotten it even closer if I had asked. Check out this link. Yeah, I'll replace the names easy enough. As for the VF-1S, I'm thinking of using the parts for another custom.
