UN Spacy Posted September 20, 2004 Posted September 20, 2004 It's been getting pretty good reviews so far. From what I've heard it's a straight up Japanese type game, I just got my November issue of EGM and they gave it three 8.5's. What's even BETTER is that the game retails for $20 . This will definitely be my next PS2 pickup. 09-16-2004 IGN 9 / 10 10-01-2004 Game Informer 8 / 10 06-21-2004 Eurogamer 9 / 10 08-07-2004 Ferrago 96 / 100 Quote
EXO Posted September 20, 2004 Posted September 20, 2004 Everytime there's a cow on the package... you know it's gonna be wacky! Well... except for milk... Quote
UN Spacy Posted September 20, 2004 Author Posted September 20, 2004 I also forgot to add it'll be released tomorrow. Quote
ewilen Posted September 20, 2004 Posted September 20, 2004 So, you roll a ball around and pick stuff up, until your ball is big enough to pick up trees, cruise ships, and giant monsters. Sounds funny. Thanks for pointing this one out. Quote
yellowlightman Posted September 20, 2004 Posted September 20, 2004 It's a fun game, but not worth much more than $20. You can beat it in a night. Still cool though! Quote
Kin Posted September 22, 2004 Posted September 22, 2004 Sorry... sometimes I think Japanese people are so frustrated ... they litteraly put their mind into reality. Quote
Guppy Posted September 22, 2004 Posted September 22, 2004 Now THAT's what I call weird. I must have it.. the world will become my sticky-ball! Maybe the cow is really hard to catch so it's like the End game Boss! Quote
JRock Posted September 22, 2004 Posted September 22, 2004 Get it peoples. If anything, this game will suffer the Klonoa Curse!! Yknow!! When Namco deliberately release a small amount of copies and suddenly discontinue production of the game, resulting in wickedly inflated prices on eBay. I'll get it tomorrow. Quote

I just came back from Best Buy (with my exchanged Battlefront for da PS2) and there weren't any copies of KATAMARI DAMACY out there. I'll pay a visit to Fry's tomorrow. Usually their selection is a LOT better....here's hoping. Quote
UN Spacy Posted September 25, 2004 Author Posted September 25, 2004 Anyone else been able to find this game? My local EB Games and Gamestop had their shipments delayed. Here's a Japanese Commercial for K.D. http://home.comcast.net/~lynngarnett/katamari.mov Quote
