Firefox Posted September 9, 2004 Posted September 9, 2004 Based on pics from a korean magazine and internet and of course my wild designation Sorry for the size though... Quote
Macross_Fanboy Posted September 9, 2004 Posted September 9, 2004 It doesn't look too different from a VF-22 or YF-21. Quote
Graham Posted September 9, 2004 Posted September 9, 2004 Differences seem to be: - Completely new nose. Uses the canopy from a YF-19. No thrust vectoring padddles. New hardpoints under the wings. The YF-21/VF-22's 4 x dorsal micro-missile launchers have been deleted. Two additional tail surfaces (from an F/A-22?) added. Graham Quote
Firefox Posted September 9, 2004 Author Posted September 9, 2004 My guess is the tail fin is from Su-27 Flanker Quote
Knight26 Posted September 9, 2004 Posted September 9, 2004 My guess is the tail fin is from Su-27 Flanker what crack are you smoking, those look nothing like Su-27 tail fins, I would say either they are F-22, or YF-23 tails. Quote
Chronocidal Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 Actually, looks like he used the standard YF-21 tails, but glued them to the top of the fuseage, and the stabs look like clipped off F-14 stabs.. Quote
