Uh actually the original dialogue was the English dub you heard. I read something like they "dubbed" it in Japanese later for Japan. But the normal release of it was in English. I think Yamadera Kouichi did the voice of Meyer Link, but I'm not certain.

Can anyone else confirm?

You haven't been searching that hard lol. Check Yesasia or CDJapan.

There is an R2 DVD of VHD Bloodlust that is in Japanese. I owned it for awhile.

There is also an R2 DVD with English audio and Japanese subs.

And yes the original language of the film is English.

hmm... that make sense no wonder I couldn't find one.

Supposedly Urban Vision is/was going to release a dual language DVD here but the regular version has sold well without it, so they might not even bother. Also there were rumors they couldn't get the rights to the Japanese track. So who knows....Urban Vision hardly releases anything.

Damn! That's what I was afraid of but I'm sure there WILL be a Collector's Deluxe Edition or whatever with improved DTS audio to milk it in the future.

Thanks for the link. I was looking in yesasia. If only subtitles were included oh well.

The funny thing about the DVD is that just about all the menu selections/chapter select screens are in English.

I have not bought this movie simply because of no Japanese audio track. I watched it, when a roommate rented it, and my decision was made then. Just because it was made first with english audio, does not mean that they chose good voice actors. There may have been a couple decent actors in there, but overall it was par for the anime dubbing course, wich is far below my standards.

I like the movie, but if no dual audio DVD is released, I simply will not buy it.
