I've always had an appreciation for zombie movies. Romero movies or World War Z by Max Brooks have been my faves in the genre. Now AMC is taking to TV another story based on a series of graphic novels. Looks like we'll be seeing a Jericho type show except instead of nukes, we get zombies! The Walking Dead-AMC Premieres on Halloween...I'm looking forward to it.

As if we had enough of these sequels. Milla Jovovich and Paul W. S. Anderson are back to piss off Resident Evil fans once again with Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, and judging by the title, it will hopefully be the last time. The film invades Japan on December 23 and in the U.S. on January 27, 2017. Train to Busan (부산행) proved that South Korea can make a better zombie flick than World War Z. Sure, its US$99 million worldwide box office gross is meager compared to Hollywood films, but it's become the highest-grossing Asian film in Hong Kong and most of Southeast Asia. It's received praise from film critics worldwide. Official Site Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 95% - "Train to Busan delivers a thrillingly unique -- and purely entertaining -- take on the zombie genre, with fully realized characters and plenty of social commentary to underscore the bursts of skillfully staged action." And with a success like that, you know what that means: an English adaptation. Following a bidding war, French studio Gaumont has acquired the rights to produce an English-language remake of Train to Busan. Train to Busan English-Language Remake Rights Go to Gaumont

Just when you think they've exhausted every cliche in a zombie movie, they decide to throw robots into the mix. Robots that look like a Zaku from Gundam and a Cylon had babies. https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=eVB-9Mgsx38 They also seem to be ripping off part of the plot to Resident Evil 5.
