Okay the idea behind this thread is simple, users tend to ask questions that are, for better words, either easy to find common knowledge or sound pretty funny. You don't want to look stupid and we don't want to have mod a bunch of little topics. Examples: "Whose that green haired lady?" "What happen to Rick hunter?" "Did Minmay kiss her brother?" "Is this video from this country a bootleg?" "What's with the Zentradi elf-ears?" "Is there an official answer to <insert story="" or="" production="" trivia="" here="">?" "Where can I find a copy of this <insert product="" here="">?" "When will we see <insert product="" here=""> come out?" "What are this things?"/"Where are these things?"/"Who are these things?" "What <insert show or episode> did <insert event or item> show up?" and other newbie or short questions like these post them here. Ground rules It's only for newbie-type and short question/answer type questions about Macross. When someone post a simple question here hopefully one the more experienced posters will tell the newbie the answer. It's Question & Answer-format only. Nothing more. Newbies tend to be lazy and ask questions about everything. If you can point the newbie to the source it's better than just telling them the answer straight. If you see a newbie question about Macross somewhere else direct them here and their other topic will be closed/deleted. Search is a great tool. Mine is definitely VF-25, especially Ozuma's Armored VF-25, closely followed by YF-19 (though the picture is that of my VF-19) It cost me some pretty pennies to get the VF-25 renewal+their armor/super packs, but I don't regret the purchase haha.

Hello, I'm new at here. First of all, Sorry for my unskilled language. i had few chances to speak English language in my life. Please don't hesitate to tell me about what i bother you because of my fault or bad manners. ------------ Before starting One day i noticed that some people from here visited my blog -from bellow linked VF-25F topic. http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=37596&page=11 Thank you for your compliment about my work. i hope you enjoyed it. But actually, The most important reason i started this new topic here is to tell you about the CVN-56 in the background. That carrier is NOT my work but my friend's one. I had adopted it (...i'm not using right word i guess) because of some personal reason. *not commercially. I do think i'm extremely honored to see it close in my life indeed. So i wanted to make no misunderstanding about my friend's effort. here is his blog link - http://blog.daum.net/project1144.2 Thank you for reading this part. And here it is- these are my recent VF-25F works. I built HASEGAWA's 1/72 VF-25F in concept of ACE COMBAT 5. One is Wardog-SQ, and Razgriz-SQ is the other. I used decals from HASEGAWA's 1/72 ACE COMBAT series kits with printed decals by myself. The VF-25 kit was very nice for me. i hope to work it again with another concepts someday. http://blog.naver.com/qufdmlans/220754655468 http://blog.naver.com/qufdmlans/220781500197 Here are some photos. i have continuous error to upload photos and i have no idea how to fix it.. sorry. https://goo.gl/photos/sWkmbqLrcBA5eSrbA In case of some painting points, my friend (not the guy above) asked me to follow the work in the bellow link. http://forum.gamer.com.tw/G2.php?bsn=60053&parent=5462&sn=4493&lorder=117 If the builder watch this, i and my friend want to say thank you for your nice idea and apology for the copy work. i want to say this directly to the builder, but i am really not familiar with Chinese language.. so sorry. i hope you to enjoy this. if you have any questions about my work (including any posts in my blog), ask me about it. i'll be pleasured if i could be help for your brilliant work. Have a nice day.

Hi, I am new to the forums. Just completed my old Bandai VF-25F Alto custom that I had for awhile now and would like to share it with you guys for some feedback. This kit is very time consuming and there is a lot of work that is needed to be done (lots of decals and panel-lining). The end product is great but the kit itself is very fragile and the fit between pieces isn't too good. Every time I move it, it feels like something might break apart (I already broke 2 minor parts). Also, the waterslide decals which are brittle themselves already are always rubbing against each other which may cause them to tear Especially the decal on the battroid's head). Therefore, I decided that I will not risk transforming it and just leave it in gerwalk mode. The gerwalk mode's movements especially around the legs are very limited and cannot extend too wide apart which was pretty disappointing. Other than that it looks great!

Hey guys! I was going through Toy Ark and was going through the Macross section and then I saw this. http://news.toyark.com/2009/05/13/new-macross-frontier-148-vf-25-other-models-announced-1271 It would have been cool to have seen them released, but it looks like they where actually TRANSFORMABLE! I mean why didn't Bandai release them!? And if you look at the other pictures, why didn't they release Klans Rare? It would be cool to at least have Klans Rare or at least the 25 or 27. Not sure if anyone else posted something about this awhile ago, but I just want to know what made Bandai change there mind. I mean I know about the Renewals, Other projects or stuff but it kinda bugs me that they just dropped it...

Piece Of Peace http://www.pofp.jp/ An exhibit of World Heritage sites built in Lego, currently in Osaka from 2014.07.19 to 08.31. It's definitely worth it if you like Lego and are in Osaka. It's also a great thing to do on a rainy day and to escape the summer heat and humidity. Especially because the enter fee is quite reasonable. Even more so if you've got kids and want an escape from the hustle and bustle of Umeda. The exhibition has some of the same sets as the 2nd one (we also went to it a couple of years ago), with enough new sets to make it more than worthwhile. Some of the sets are quite large and awe inspiring (on top of inspiring). That said, I was blown away when I saw the familiar site of the Lego VF-25. And it wasn't just one - but three! And the sheer scale of the mecha behind them was also surprising. Nevertheless, I revelled at the chance to get an up close look at how Kawamori-san went about building a transforming Valkyrie - and some of the pieces he used were surprising. There were also descriptive plaques and images of what they finally ended up looking like in anime; along with an introductory note by Kawamori-san. All in all, it was a very satisfying surprise to find at the exhibition, and I hope that the pictures give you some ideas on how to make your own Lego Valkyrie, like seeing the actual sets has for me.
