Set for release on June 6, 2014 is Edge of Tomorrow, the Hollywood adaptation of the sci-fi novel All You Need Is Kill by Hiroshi Sakurazaka. Directed by Doug Liman (Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Jumper) the film stars Tom Cruise, Emily Blunt and Bill Paxton. The screenplay was originally written by Dante Harper, but it underwent numerous revisions under Joby Harold (Awake), Steve Kloves (the Harry Potter series, The Amazing Spider-Man), Christopher McQuarrie (The Usual Suspects, The Wolverine), Tim Kring (Crossing Jordan, Heroes), Jez Butterworth (Fair Game), Roberto Orci & Alex Kurtzman (Transformers, Star Trek).
