The Equalizer is an upcoming action thriller directed by Antoine Fuqua (Training Day, King Arthur), based on the 1980s TV series. The film stars Denzel Washington (Lt. Col. Ron Hunter in Crimson Tide, Det. Alonzo Harris in Training Day) as a former special forces operative who is dragged back to his violent ways when he wipes out a Russian mob to save a girl.
