  1. I spent the last two days working on an Oberth-Class destroyer design for 3D printing, shown below. now, I’m pretty happy with it. You may be thinking though, that it’s honestly pretty rough. Details are lacking, shapes seem to be slightly thicker than they really should be, that sort of thing. Why would I do that? Because a 200-meter long Oberth at 1/2000 scale is a centimeter long. So I’m trying to get what details I can in there without things breaking 😄 (And I basically gave up on the radar, as much as I like it. Too spindly) 1cm will put it in scale with the ARII zentradi capital ships and SDF-1 that I recently started acquiring. If it goes well I might try to design an ARMD (perhaps even a version I can swap in as docked to the Macross, after all I have a few…), a Zentradi picket ship, or if I’m crazy enough a simplified Quel-Quallie. I’ll document any of that here. But for now, time to start trying to print this Oberth.
  2. Hello everyone, I am having a tough time with the 3D models already posted, I got some of the Models to work, but I need ones of higher quality with internals for the cockpit pit, I know it's odd but I'm looking for 1/1 scale, because I am looking to Pilot it in ZeroG racing and Space races in VR Resonite, the models I've found don't have cockpits, and the texture has to be redone to have the 1/1 details (caution signs, emblems, logos, lining, etc), I was hoping for game rips since they sometimes have internal cockpits with the model, but I can't understand or get the UtaMacross rips to work, I have a physical and rom of Macross 30 Voice across the galaxy, I just dont know how to get at the models, I am debating about buying Macross Shooting insight while it's on sale to try to get those models, but I don't know what game engine it uses if it's unity or unreal or something completely different, if it's unity I can get at the game models, and if anyone of you out there Custom make or build valkyrie 3d models with internals please let me know, I won't ask for freebies for homemades, cause if you make art, sculpt, design, paint, you should be compensated, and if you want to sell homemade models please let me know, again this is for me to be able to Pilot them in VR for ship racing, any and all info help! Even if it's just the uncolored 3d models with internal cockpit that is a huge help! Thank you!
  3. i need some help here, i got a few years back a valkyrie alto custom model kit, but a few days ago my cat drop it from my floating shelf and it broke the little piece that holds the entire robot (D18 part from the build manual) and i can´t find someone whos willing to made a 3d model or even find a replacement onlyne, i live in chile so model kits are no that huge community, i´ve tried aliexpress with very little luck so i´m here looking for someone who can help me find a replacement or if you can find a 3d model i´m willing to pay for it, i have someone who can 3dprint so i just need the 3d
  4. Because Macross is the coolest. (Extra credit for naming the greeblies and easter eggs!) xoxo, arbit I thought I would make a separate topic for this add-on, since it has a large amount of detail on its own, and can be attached to any flight deck. Full detailed WIP will follow once I get my resources together. Character figures are made by me, using a lot of stock 3D parts from around the internet. Barrels/Lifeboats from Thingiverse, edited by @Xigfrid to add the Macross flag. Barrel racks by @Xigfrid Original SDF-1 3D model made by GUILLEABM83 on Cults3d, heavily edited, separated, and hollowed by me for printing and lighting. Thanks to Guillermo for his awesome work! Macross robots and cameras by OIM on Cults3d. Thanks Olivier! Go check out his library of Macross figures. Platform made by me from super duper secret greeblies on Thingiverse.
  5. I've pinned the final build video up top, followed by the WIP in the rest of the thread. This is a new build to continue my motorized Ranger squadron, but this time I am using Xigfrid's Shapeways 3D printed gear. With Xigfrid's gear I got a much smoother operation, and in many ways an easier installation, although I can't say its ever that easy to cut into your valk like this. I also learned from my last build for the Motorized 1/72 VF-1S Launch Arm to pay closer attention to the type and speed of the motor as well as the coding to test full performance before final installation. In the last build I ended up with a slower motor speed than I expected. I also wanted to give a better step-by-step WIP with Xigfrid's gear, which will be coming up.

  7. Here's a little animation that I did using my recently completed vf-11b model. Why did I create a new thread instead of posting in the previous one? Coz I'm an attention horse. Plus I'd like to have a separate discussion on the animation alone instead of talking about the model and I plan to make more short, short sequences so I'll just dump them here. And I'm an attention horse. Spent quite a bit of time animating the individual control surfaces, although they're far from accurate coz I didn't do enough research. Comments are much appreciated! Watch it in HD too.
  8. Here's another HIGH QUALITY commission piece I AgaveCacuts had do. He is definitely one of the Best Artist when it comes to Details. I present the SW-XA II Schneegans. This Took him a little longer to do because if it's obscure nature. I choose this one because I love the Swept Wing design and Plus it was another obscure design. So I present the SW-XA II Schneegans - Enjoy!!!
  9. Here's another HIGH QUALITY commission piece I AgaveCacuts had do. We can ALL say he's one of the BEST when it comes to MACROSS Valkyries. I Present The Variable Glaug UN Spacy. It's another OBSCURE one, but I fell in LOVE with it when I saw it in the OPENING of MACROSS M3. It's a KICK-ASS Design and I really APPRECIATE the time AGAVECACUTS does with these. This was ANOTHER Difficult model because source Material was Scare but he has another HOME RUN. More Renders to come. So I present the Variable Glaug UN Spacy.
