  1. Not sure if this is a re-issue, but heads up for anyone looking for these, Toyntoys has the Miria Super VF-1J listed as a New Arrival for 250SGD.
  2. Thanks for the heads up. At the rate the pre-orders are filling up, $211 isn't really too bad at all and ishop2go is pretty reliable.
  3. I was just recently able to get a Millia VF-1J form Yahoo! Japan auctions for 12,000 JPY + proxy comission fees. They pop on Y!J auctions every so often, but they don't go for cheap (esp w/ USD/JPY exchange rate these days). Here's a VF-1J set with Hikaru/Max/Millia that just ended recently: http://page7.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/g104704691
  4. I got bored and took a couple of pictures today:
  5. I didn't realize AmiAmi had a policy like that... That really sucks since these things are considered collectors items by some and may not be transformed or even opened immediately upon receipt. I guess I better thoroughly inspect everything I buy from AmiAmi as soon as it arrives.
  6. With your budget, I'd probably go w/ the 1/72 model kits.
  7. Just wanted to say thinks for everything you do for the Macross community, definitely very much appreciated!
  8. I think people are still buying these because if there just aren't too many options if you want a VF-0. Yamato hasn't really shown too much interest in revisiting the Macross Zero line so I thought it would be pointless to wait and caved in and picked up a VF-0A Shin Kudo w/ Ghost Booster in all it's floppy glory. Despite all that, I still really love my VF-0A... but it'll probably forever remain fighter mode.
  9. On the VF-1J M&M, when you pull the chest plate down, it's very easy to scratch the two white tabs that stick up from the back. Mine came with a little piece of paper in Japanese that pretty much cautions you about that. Basically on the VF-1J M&Ms, the white paint is very soft and easy to scratch. The new 1/60 Roy VF-1S is supposed to have the fixed post VF-1D v2.0 shoulders.
  10. I'd definitely buy side covers and more detailed cockpits/pilots.
  11. wow, that miria vf-22 is beautiful. i can't think of any other valkyries in red... it looks great and it'll look even better next to max's blue vf-22. after seeing this, i'm already getting buyer's remorse with my yf-21 from the hlj sale and i don't even have it yet.
  12. Does anyone know if Angolz charges your card immediately for pre-orders or when when the items ship?
  13. Not only are they expensive, but they aren't even done very well in the first place. They look way too weathered imo... they look dirty as if they were just dug out of the ground or something. all of the custom jobs by members on here look 100x better.
  14. What about m&m AND the vt AND the ve-1?
  15. Anyone know anything about these? It says Super Parts, but they're pictured w/ Strike Parts... I'm hoping they fixed the shoulders while they were at it too. http://www.angolz.com/home/productDetails....?PLU=0000108474 http://www.angolz.com/home/productDetails....?PLU=0000108473
  16. Here are the boxes for the two YF-19s.
  17. Yeah, I think you're right about the VF-1S w/o the Strike packs being from the initial production. I think they've never gone out of stock since I've been checking. The VF-1S w/ Strike packs were sold out for quite a while on Overdrive and HLJ though and now they're back in stock so I wonder if those are updated. I'd be willing to pay more for the bundled VF-1S Strike if they don't have the potential shoulder problems.
  18. I assumed they were currently not being produced because it didn't seem like the retailers were restocking them, but I just checked right now and now HLJ & Overdrive seem to have some in stock. So maybe they're still producing them right now after all... has anyone gotten any VF-1S Strike Valkyries w/ the updated shoulder pins yet?
  19. I'm assuming the VF-1S Strike is not currently in production since it's unavailable at most of the retailers now. Does anyone have any idea when Yamato will start producing the VF-1S Strike again but with the updated shoulders found on the VF-1D and later models? I searched the release schedule thread, and other posts but couldn't find much info.
  20. You can try Frank & Son or Anime Jungle. Frank & Son will most likely have some MF stuff... not too sure about Anime Jungle since I haven't been there in a while. Prices are always going to be more in store than online, but with shipping costs, sometimes buying in store is comparable. http://www.fs-collectibles.com/ http://www.animejungle.net/
