  1. Good to see someone else do this one! I love the VF-4. Did you use the Valkyrie recast? Looks like it. I still have one left that I'm planning to do. Here is mine I did last year.
  2. you guys remember when I did that wish list thread? I'll go try to find it.
  3. GBP all day long
  4. I ran across this YF-19 recently on this guy's website. I do not know if it has already been discussed, but I thought it was AWESOME BABY (in the word's of Dick Vitale). the guy's website is http://www.inpayne.com/
  5. Big thumbs up! I love diaramas... I've never done one, but I love them!
  6. I think the "ayes" have it. Unpin the thread.
  7. This guy hit the nail on the head.
  8. isnt it about time we took this info thread down (or at least unpin it). Its like 2 years old now.
  9. you guys are too funny too much time on your hands. just kidding, bros.
  10. Im in... but as I mentioned before, I don't care if it transforms... I'm likely to build it in fixed position. No worries if you cancel... I also pre-ordered SMT's 1/100 Monster. By the way, in case you all haven't heard. SMT's owner, Colin, was robbed by some former employees... now he is waaaaaay behind schedule. I don't think his Monster will be ready for some time.
  11. wow... that is the first time I've ever heard that resin is easier to work with the polystyrene. Personally, I think with all the pinning, sanding, and filling that resin is harder to work with. I still love it, though... masochistic.
  12. my opinion = no use Motomaster or Duplicolor if you want a large fine automotive primer (fine enough to use on good models.
  13. I think Joey Bag O'Donuts is working on the Mechafreak situation.
  14. I have the Badger 155 Anthem and am very pleased with it. I think the only difference between that and wmc's 200 is that it is double action. It takes a little while to get used to, but I'm having fun with it. I think mine is just as easy to clean... I use WMC's windex trick too! Funny story... My brother in-law works for Campbell Hausfeld which makes compressors, so I got that for free. Now I hear that he has been appointed to a joint venture with Iwata. It looks like I may be getting a free airbrush!
  15. so Boeing lost the F-22 Raptor AND the Joint Strike Fighter? Wow... the old McDonnel Douglas didn't do so well.
  16. Looks great! I especially like the Koenig Monster. One question... does anyone know what these are?
  17. David, That thing looks very impressive... do you have any history on the aircraft? Was it experimental?
  18. That's what I used on mine too, but the size of the macross logos is a little off. Those were the only big problems.
  19. That looks awesome! The paint job is very clean and nice.
  20. Great stuff! I really like it and the Minmay was a very nice touch. Very clean job!
  21. No problems on my Hasegawa's, Bandai's or resin kits.
  22. That's where you are wrong, David. You just need to use the right primer. Motomaster is very fine out of the spraycan and of a mid-tone quality of grey. It is much finer than Krylon, which most modeler's mistakenly use. I hear Duplicolor is also as fine as Motomaster... and the best part is that you can normally find them at an Autozone or Wal-Mart.
