They did make the Mac:Zero ghosts so I think it's not unlikely that we'll see a X-9, though it's probably low on the priorities list. If so, I would like a wrecked YF-21 to recreate the popped-eyeball scene.

Yamato 1:6 Ranka segway toy go go go. -
That's a good one lol. ... I actually "got emotional" during the very last scene, where the life-stream, life-force or w/e comes to life and pwns meteor. Vifam, what show is that?

Guys, admit it... I and I'm sure everyone else tries to act like a tough guy, especially on the internet. But there are times when testosterone simply cannot hold back tears when watching an awesome movie, anime, or whatever. Did you watch something that was so intense you got teary-eyed? Here is my list: (Spoilers galore, click at your own risk!) 1) The Outer Limits: Tribunal (1995) Here is a clip of the final scene: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2q-csH7Jlfc 2) "Fan ending" to Doraemon: 3) CoD4 ending: Be a man... share your list.

Like KillerRobot points out, there is a longstanding theatrical tradition, not just in Japan, to use males to play females. However, I suspect that Alto's characterization is because of this recent virulent trend in anime that is obsessed with effeminate looking guys.... but that's ok, Ozma's Gar level is sufficient to cover the testosterone requirement of any action flick. -
In BSG, if Eli were to stick his arm into the gate as it's about to close, the following would have happened: 1) He would have lost his arm, but not died. 2) Doc fixes him up, has a cigarette. 3) Becomes bitter and enters politics 4) Fracks half the female cast 5) Stages a coup 6) Is captured, but forgiven... yes, according to Adama Jr. everyone is forgiven.

For me it was fighter/gerwalk. If you asked me 15 years ago I would say Battroid....

When I saw the first images of "fake" Sheryl, I thought that SK had finally gone off the deep end and made Alto hime female ... not surprising given the sheer amount of trap-related content in today's anime. I'm glad I was wrong. -
It's definitely not "pretty" but it has a more contemporary design. Oh, and you have to see that monstrosity in action. In MS IglooII ep.3, just 3 of those wipe out a whole platoon of zakus and 2 land battleships, though all 3 are lost in action too lulz.

The guntank from MS Igloo looks much better imo:

I am looking forward to the HGUC REZL. It is my favorite design out of the Unicorn series:

I have near unlimited-budget too.... it just charges me monthly interest for the amount of the budget I use >_<. -
For me it is cyclical. On some days I just go, "lol transforming airplanes gtfo" and other times I just need to get a Macross fix and rewatch Zero, or Plus which are short enough for the fixed duration of said fix. On other days I think Family Guy is the best animated piece ever made. Oh, and it's funny the sheer number of times poor ol M7 is mentioned in this thread . (Source of problem for many... maybe?)

In other not so exciting automotive news, GM will be eliminating Saturn pretty soon... hooray! My current vehicle will thus become a "collector's item" soon and worth millions. Oh, to dream of all the Yammies I will be able to buy! -
I just realized that Macross 30th will fall pretty darn close to the predicted Nostradamus/Mayan/Apocalypto/NeonGenesis 2012 Zombie Apocalypse of 12.21.2012.....

7/9 was a great character too.... though not necessarily for the acting.

I think it wasn't 100% obvious I was being sarcastic, even after I claimed Daschund and French Toast ownership in the name of HG.

I'm so happy, I passed my Network+ exam yesterday. Wohoo! 1 small step towards false-IT-lordship (ie. CCNA, MSCE, and beyond >_< ) -
I think that it really depends upon how reliably EMS works for you as opposed to where you buy it from . Sometimes I've had the magical 2 day turn around, but others I've waited for up to 2 weeks. As for the retailers, I personally prefer Hobby Search. Their inventory and restock is not as good as HLJ but after several orders I've noticed they are much faster at sending stuff to you. The problem with HLJ is their totally borked ordering system - I suspect there is a lot of manual input going on behind the scenes. The whole process whereby I place an order today and you manually enter the order into your system the next day is so 20th century.

Destroids are relegated to 3rd and 4th tier because Harmony Gold owns the US distribution rights to all destroids, mechs, robots, french toast, and Daschunds.
