    LOL that's an awesome plane. I totally agree with the "throne zone" designation for the emergency exits. I spent a good year on a project traveling almost every week, and went from no status to platinum in like 5 months. Given the choice between a first class upgrade and a coach e-exit seat, the latter was more comfortable 8/10 times depending on the plane (unless you were in a hurry to get off - the only real benefit of first class... that and free booze).

    Imagine if you were a time traveler from say the year 1950... and you warp to the future TEH YEAR 2010! You're expecting flying cars, utopian society, and human colonies on Earth and Mars. Instead, you find that the highest form of technology is a piece of software called "Twitter" that enables you to inform your friends on what you had for breakfast. Oh, and there is a length limit too, which has the added effect of destroying the English language as people try and cram more sentences with unusual shorthand.

    On the mechanical side, one thing I'd do differently is to eliminate battroid mode and modify gerwalk. First, battroid - other than shooting missiles in style and mecha kung-fu serve very little tactical value. It makes more sense for tactical battroids that specialize in hand-to hand and combat on solid ground. Perhaps even transformable ground mechs. The DC-5 Lotto from Gundam Unicorn for instance looks pretty sweet and specialized for this role. Gerwalk can be a dedicated space-fighter and the legs basically solve the problem of space-fighters in general, which is the need to exert thrust in a variety of directions, lacking the strong gravitational pull of a celestial body. Also, 2 modes probably makes high quality toy design easier.

    Scenario: it is 2013. Humanity miraculously survived the 2012 Mayan Zombie Alien Nibiru Invasion Apocalypse, . . Astro Plan has won an academy award for best foreign animated film. We are still waiting for HL2 episode 3.... but Shoji Kawamori has gone further into the deep end, Macross will be rebooted. If it happened, what would you like to see differently? Stay the same? Which characters would you keep, modify, or just eliminate completely like poor Nanase.

    Unobtanium just sounds so ridiculous though... I much prefer Mass Effect's Element Zero or like they refer to it Eeeeeeezo in-game. If they're going to make fictitious elements might as well give it an more plausible name, but yea that's not important. BLUE PEOPLE FREEEDOOOOOM! ARGHHHHHHH! DEFORESTATION BAAAAAD!

    This was a so so episode, the bit about Cylon-Zoe chopping the guy's finger off was a bit predictable - but now we can see the roots of the Cylon rebellion! I think the best part of the series thus far is still to illustrate the world of Caprica itself in such unique and great detail.... did Joseph's brother walk right into Chinatown for his protection duties ?

    Also would have liked to append Xenogears - this was a truly ambitious game, epic storyline, characters, and you get to fight in mechs, but Disk 2 was wtf, I think they ran out of budget or something. On that same note, I really enjoyed the Xenosaga Episode 1, I have yet to play the remaining 2.
