    Base-Coat and canopy complete. Ready for some masking to give it a custom livery. I've only "metallized the top engine," I'll have to go back and do that for the remaining uncovered parts of the viper.

    I think they've already said that it was not Cloverfield related, though you never know, anything is possible. Or you could alternatively believe that this is another chapter in the Abramsverse in which the events of Felicity, Super 8, Cloverfield, Lost, and Star Trek are part of the same timeline .

    I've been wondering about the timeline too of when Claudia washed ashore on the island. Anyone know what language they were speaking in the first few minutes? According to Lostpedia she is wearing a Stola, which was a female attire during the time of the Roman Empire. I'm guessing the island had jumped to the Mediterranean during that time.

    I'm kind of not totally convinced Eli et al who magically made it back to Destiny are the real ones that got lost, as you mentioned it would be extremely lame. I think the guy who got absorbed into the chair became the same type of non-corporeal dust being that was "drinking the water"?

    Our board's second Battlestar Frontier Viper Mk II in construction. Mk II trying to be a Mk VII? Stay tuned. It's been a long time since I've built anything, so this is going to be more of a warm-up kit to have fun and experiment with.

    I sure have been having fun with it. I'll post some update-pics on the modeling thread soon. For anyone who's wondering what the plain kit looks like here's a picture of my test-fit. It's a nice kit thus far, the only thing that's a bit annoying is how that rear engine assembly fits together, but it's a minor issue.

    Seems like Bandai has not forgotten about the GM Snipy II: (Source: Ngeekhiong) Guess we're getting the 0080 first, and will inevitably be dissapointed to find that the white-dingo variant will be bandai-shop exclusive .

    HA... funny thing is that since Super 8 motels is one of the top google-hits, I thought that the hotel chain was part of some strange viral advertisement (as I was confusing it with another motel Chain: Motel 6 )... after some research, I concluded that Super 8 motels was legit lol. Damm, these days it's hard to separate truth from fiction.

    In the sense that after a spectacular season 1, Double 0 started to suck like SEED... yes I think I've been watching too much slice-of-life crap - it's been well over a year since I've tasted anything mecha... hopefully watching Iron Man 2 will get me back to the path of righteous animu. I have been watching: K-On Season 2 Arakawa under the Bridge Kaichou Wa Maid Sama Also recently finished the first 14 eps of Bakemonogatari. While watching this, I almost felt like it is a cheap yet successful attempt to capitalize on the usage of low budget techniques lol. But I enjoyed it nevertheless... can't wait for the last webisode.

    Miles chose to join Team Ricardo when they split with team Jack (I believe Ben is with them as well). And I don't feel that Sayid went out in the fashion you described. He probably felt that this was a way to atone for all the bad deeds he had accumulated throughout his "career," as there was still some good left in him.
