  1. Oh joy the choice of letting Hideaki Anno wreck one of my childhood icons to save another. That would be Yoshinobu Nishizaki the so called "co-creator" of Yamato himself. If you read the production notes on Tim Eldred's site his greatest contribution to Yamato was reading Heinlein's Methusula's Children then approaching the production commitee with the vague idea of some type of scifi space journey. He then left leaving it up to the rest of the crew to come up ideas that he'd choose from at a later date. Production was a mess up untill Leiji Matsumoto was brought onboard and more or less became the driving force behind everything we know Yamato to be. What was Nishizaki's contributions since then? Kill the crew blow up ship repeat ad naseum. Blue Noah knockoff show Get arrested for guns & coke possesion. On release from jail fight for control of Yamato. Halfassed remakes where kill crew blow up ship happens. Live action remake where kill crew blow up ship happens. Die himself leaving his adopted son in charge. 2199 and 2202 happens.
  2. The only way he should ever be allowed back is if he jobbed to a reunited Harlem Heat and they break his back, make him humble. Old country way.
  3. I wouldn't be shocked if you heard about a company picking it up and announcing it at AX this weekend.
  4. Man I hope we get a RGM-79A out of that RX-78-01[N] kit. Knowing my luck it will be a P-Bandai exclusive.
  5. Now this is my own speculation and I have nothing to base this on, but my gut tells me Arya is going to be the tv version of Lady Stone Heart. It just makes sense to me given how both characters are so focused on revenge, and I don't think you can keep running around assassinating people willy nilly without slipping up and getting caught.
  6. UNIVERSAL CENTURY GUNDAM!
  7. Just got back from seeing this film and what can I say? It was at least enjoyable and didn't feel like a waste of cash, but in the end so much STUPID! STUPID! STUPID! STUPID!
  8. If you're going to play the victim Jefuemon you might not want to provide links to the tweet you being a sacastic d-bag. Sure your comment about Macross made have had its merits, but pointing out the typo like you did makes you a wiseass. TLDR? Hmm... Sacastic twitter comment results in blocking? Never thought that!
  9. If CM Punk was done with wrestling he wouldn't be constantly harping about the WWE on twitter. I suspect he might have had a non compete clause that he signed when he began with the WWE hence his half hearted attempt at an MMA career.
  10. The thing is the Hardy's are heavily rumored to be heading to the WWE after the brand split so this promo is pretty much a waste of cash. If they were really this desperate they should have driven a truck full of cash up to CM Punk's house regardless of what his UFC plans are.
  11. I can't say I particularly like the cgi in the previews of the anime, but its honestly something I can overlook given how long I've been waiting for this.
  12. I know why they do it too, and they deserve a lawsuit for it. It's false advertising to present something and charge for it as new when its already been opened and touched by someone else.
  13. If you guys are wondering why Masamune Shirow gave up on sci-fi, a lot of it had to do with what happened to the original version of the GiTS sequel. He spent months working on it and then his hard drive corrupted and crashed from a power surge. Nothing was recoverable and he had a breakdown while scrambling to piece together a new version that became man machine interface. That left him burnt out and cost him a bit of money for missing a deadline so he decided to blow off some steam by going back to the thing that made his name in the first place... Smutty pinups. After a while he realized his dirty art books where actually out selling his "regular" works like Appleseed, Black Magic, and GiTS so he never really looked back untill he decided to collaborate with another artist on Crimson Shell.
  14. Here's how I see it... People who are familiar with the Warcraft universe going into it, the ones who know the who/what the people, places, and things are, they are the ones who are going to love this film. People new to the property, who have never played the games, and the unfamiliar who are expecting some grand introduction into the Warcraft world are the ones who will hate this film. As for me? I played the first 3 games, but never gave more than a ratling's arse about World of Warcraft or its community. I have a mild interest in this film, but it isn't a must run out and see for me.
