    In the anime the girls have these ninja masks that they pull up from their collars over their faces during combat. I could have sworn from pictures I saw long ago that the girl figures from that set had that as a variant. BTW if you got any extras do you want to sell them to me?

    I finished watching Kampfer. Personally I feel this should have been better as a 3-4 episode OVA than a 12 tv series. Its pretty much about this guy named Natsuru that somehow gets a blue bracelet attached to his wrist after he accepted a bowel familiar(don't ask) stuffed animal from the girl of his dreams. He is now a kampfer(german for fighter)with the stuffed animal as his mentor, but theres a catch only women can be kampfers... so he transforms into a hot chick every time he uses his powers. Being a blue kampfer he is supposed to fight the red kampfers. Key word there is "supposed" since many of the episodes are just about him dealing with changing back and forth between a man and a woman. The problem is his girl of his dreams loves the woman form, he has a librarian girl practically throwing herself at both his forms,the student president who is also a red kampfer is trying to seduce his male form, and apparently the rest of the girls at school are lesbians. How does he handle it? Get it on as much as he can? NOOOOOO he has to act like a traditional japanese sheltered moron and whine about everything! It was almost enough to drive me nuts. Don't get me wrong it wasn't all bad which is why I said above it would have been better as an OVA and dropped a lot of the filler highschool life and got on with the fighting and conspiracies. Some of the show is just pure insanity I think the following video(its not an AMV but an actual scene) sums it up perfectly... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H8E50t8eq0g Anyways aside from Kampfer I also watched "Castle of Cagliostro" on netflix. Definatly a classic and I loved every minute of it. I did find it odd with one thing. You have all these Miyazaki designed characters running around, and Lupin's gang(designed by monkey punch) seemed a little strange at first. EDIT: did I do a good job avoiding spoilers? EDIT: another cool thing is Kampfer is subtitle only and little liner notes pop up pointing things out(like the many references to gundam and voice actors)

    Well thats the thing, there is nothing "conventional" about a stealth helicopter or the missions it would undertake. Eliminating the side doors and making the sides of the aircraft more angular would help to cut down on its radar cross section. Its just a guess on my part. Then again it could be outfitted with a hydraulic door on the side similar to the F-22 or RAH-66 weapons bays. Thats probably more likely than the bomb bay to be honest. Still about the whole cutting the floor away and rerouting part, we still don't know 100% what it is. It could be a whole new chooper, a heavily modified UH-60, or even a UH-60 variant built from the ground up to be what it is. whatever it is I doubt that there are more than 3 or 4 in existance

    Since my last post I finished watching Pumpkin Scissors, Coyote Ragtime Show, Papillon Rose and have started watching Starship Operators. Pumpkin Scissors- I really liked concept of this show and the character designs. What bugs me is after 24 episodes it just... STOPS!!! Nothing is resolved, none of the mysteries are explanned, and it feels like it was just getting started like a season one cliffhanger. Too bad there is no season 2. I liked the frankenharlock character Oland with his boomstick, and Webner the sexy redhead tank mechanic(why can't girls like this exist in real life?) who pops up every couple of episodes. Coyote Ragtime Show- What can I say? This show was a blur. Start with grey haired poytail guy and his crew, the daughter of a guy that pulled off Ocean's 11 in space, toss in cyborg maid cafe styled assassins led by a woman on perma PMS, and for good measure add freedom fighters from the peoples republic of carbombya fighting U.N. Spacy wannabe's who say the hell with it and plan to nuke the disputed planet with a big bomb... Oh yeah theres also the Don King preacher man. Papillon Rose- This was an odd series. I knew going in kinda what to expect, a fan service laden parody of Sailor Moon. The thing is it only lasted the first OVA episode, after that it turns into a 6 episode tv series that apart from the parodies of of pokemon, sailor moon, and the like is actually very tame. No nudity, no sexual situations, and maybe 2 panty shots total. Just a normal magical girl show. The OVA on the other hand is softcore porn. You name it its in here, with the exception of lower body nudity... No really it is, did I really need to see the cat from sailor moon going down on Tuxedo Mask!?!?!? Starship Operators- Just finished the first disc and its an interesting premise. On a training cruise of the newest state of the art battleship the cadets onboard find out theit country no longer exists. Instead of giving up they decided to fight back after the regular military crew abandons the ship. To keep supplied they make a contract with a news channel which agrees to fund their war for independence in exchange broadcast rights onboard the ship. I like how the show tris to portray a realistic approach to space combat, but the teen angst is a little annoying, and its starting to be a monster(enemy starship) of the week show.

    Now that is an interesting picture. Still if this is supposed to be a steatlh chopper I doubt very much it has all those windows, or a minigunner hanging out the side. I wouldn't be surprised if it has WWII bomb bay style ventral doors for the air assault role either. Nose should be a bit more angular too. Even if its a heavily modified UH-60 it really doesn't surprise me we have something like it. The F-117 was flying as early as 1981 back when the F-16 Fighting Falcon(viper) was considered state of the art, and no one knew a thing about the F-117 untill the gulf war a little over 10 years later. Now all anyone talks about is the F-22 or F-35 as the futuristic state of the art. It really makes you wonder what super advanced airframe is already up and running thats better than them. On a lighter note the drawing does kinda remind me of Airwolf.

    If anything this explains why the RAH-66 Commanche cost 6 times what it was supposed to. The money went to creating a stealth utility chopper.

    finished Queen's blade. I am now desensitized to bewbies.     Hey guys I just got back from anime boston and I picked a votoms kit for 35 bucks and I was wondering what if anything you can tell me about. The box says its a 1/24 red shoulder custom scopedog metal/plastic hybrid kit made by Takara. The plastic body and all the parts are chrome. Unfortunatly I don't have my digicam handy so I can't take any pics, but I want to know if this kit is special or anything so I'm going to go ahead a post this.

    I really can't think of anywhere esle to ask this, but why do a large amount of fans both in Japan and otherwise drop to their collective knees and pucker up for Char Aznable? This guy has to be the biggest scumbag in all of anime. He either screws over, backstabs, betrays, or kills anyone he comes into contact with. He blams others for his failings. He might be a pedo. He's obsessed with getting revenge for his family, but really could care less about his actual family members(heres some gold Sayla now go away, nevermind I have seen you in 10 years). His actions border on sociopathic/genocidal and he finally snaps in "Char's Counterattack". By that point I'm hoping random GM pops up and kills him. Great moments in Char's life "Gee Garma the showers we take together are fun but I have to kill you now, blame it on your dad!" "Gee Lalah its cool we have this mental connection, but I need you to kill some people for me." "Gee Kycillia it was fun playing with you as a kid, and I really thank you for saving me after I let your little brother die, but my sister and the guy piloting the gundam who killed my underage pregnant girlfriend tell me your my enemy so I have to blow your head off now okay?" "Gee Haman your sexy and all but I've been using you to get to that little redhead your protecting sorry. No we can't use her together, Char don't play that" "Gee Kamille it sucks your family is dead but I need you to fight for me. Oh and when you need me most I will disappear." "Gee Quess its cool we have this mental connection, but I need you to kill some people for me." "Gee Nanai I know you love me, your a little too old for me besides I have a planet to kill."     I'm not so sure this was an improvement, many mobile suits after the one year war still used the monoeye like the hi-zack for example. Besides the steroscopic vision would only work if the camera's were linked to the pilots own eyesight, other wise you're still looking at a flat viewscreen. EDIT: It wouldn't be used for the range finder scope either since the Guncannon has one and is a monoeye the same as the zaku's.

    heres my predictions for wrestlmania World Heavyweight Championship (SmackDown!) Alberto del telemundo wins after Santino tries to interfere and fails. Either that or Rey Mysterio turns heel and screws Edge over. WWE Heavyweight Championship (RAW) The Rock takes everyone out and make off with the title. Undefeated Streak at Risk, Again - No-Holds-Barred I'MMMA THE LAMMMMMEEEA wins and breaks taker's streak VIA sledge hammer provided by HBK in revenge for last wrestlemania. The rest of D-X make surprise reappearence(X-pac included) Special Guest Referee: Stone Cold Steve Austin Lawler wins nuff said. Randy Orton vs. CM Punk Pepsi boy takes this one again. I hate Orton... Rey Mysterio vs. Cody Rhodes hmmmm this match isn't exactly what I would expect from a wrestlemania match. Still Rey wins Six-Person Mixed Tag Team Match If there was ever a sniper in the crowd this is where I would want them to pop up. I actually want LayCool and Ziggles to win after hearing Trish's lame Rock imitation at elimination chamber. United States Championship Damn Sheamus how do you go from WWE champ to this??? jar o' mayo wins this one thanks to Cole Eight-Man Tag Team Match This may be the most entertaing match of the night considering who is in it. Seriously that is one screwed up tag team... Big Show AND Kane? Satino's team wins only after the big two are eliminated and Koslov pulls something out his butt. Kofi Kingston vs. Drew McIntyre what is this the dark match? Token vs bravefart? The southafrimaican takes this one.

    I kinda liked how the first gundam was handled, the only things special about it was the metal of the armor, and the energy rifle which up to that point had only been seen as starship armament. Seeing the series remind me alot of the M1A1 Abrams against those old soviet era tanks from the first gulf war. Those Iraqi's just didn't have the range, firepower, or armor to go toe to toe with the Abrams, just like the zeon's mobile suits. And as for Amuro surviving the destruction of the RX-78-2 it actually made a decent bit of sense.

    well that was AWESOME!!! Good to see The Rock actually take a bump and get physical, for awhile I was afraid this would turn into Brock Lesner vs Goldberg all over again. I hope this ends with the Rock annihilating The Miz, his man servant,and Cena the just walk off with the damn title. Like these jabroni's ever really had a claim to it. Just one more thing... "Where I grew up!"... really Cena really? I live in MA. West Newbury is far from what I would call a ghetto rich boy. For that you would need to come from Lowell, Lynn, Chelsea, Springfield or parts of Boston itself. You wouldn't last 2 minutes in Jamaica plain cracker. Also do us all a favor and stop looking like your going to cry like a baby everytime you get up in the Rock's face. Seriously though I'm pretty sure judging by the huge smile on Cena's face he's living a dream being in the same ring as The Rock.

    the tiger striped fighters remind my of the "ring raiders" toy line. They were little planes almost like micro machines attached to plastic rings you put on your fingers. They came in squadron packs of 4 or 5 planes, and even had a flightstick you could attach them to.

    well I voted. I kinda wish they picked the VF-1 to go head to head with the VF-25. I made a tough choice, but I went for the RGM-79 over the VF-1, the Scopedog over the P.O.S lancelot, the ingram av-98 over GN fag what ever that is, and finally the VF-25 over the strike gundam.
