Thanks for the heads up. Earlier this year, I watched the Arceus Pokemon movie at Toho cinema in Roppongi Hills. After the 1st showing of the movie, the lady who worked at the gift shop said they are already out of some exclusive figures. Perhaps she didn't know what I was talking (gesturing) about and give me the wrong information. Will they be giving away any thing on the first day of the Macross F movie? I remember they gave away some sampler pack at the Pokemon movie to the first 100,000 attendees or something. BTW, what are they offering on this link, http://www.ftkpm.jp/macrossf/?

The person who insisted on playing "We will win" from his prized Robotech Perfect Soundtrack Album CD knew about SFDM; he has watched at least three versions of DYRL (English, Japanese sub, and Cantonese version). But I guess you can say he preferred Robotech out of nostalgic reasons. Robotech was the version he watched when he was a little kid, and it was Robotech that led him to study CS. One of his career goal is to either develop a veritech flight sim game or work in the aerospace field (to influence Veritech concepts in to actual designs). Since my primary exposure to RT was through the novel series, Macross and RT are two completely different stories from my perspective. Each story has its own unique appeal, and comparing the two is like comparing Star Wars with Star Trek: Two great Sci-Fi franchises that share some similarities but are fundamentally apples and oranges.

The showing time really depends on Save's schedule and my traveling companion's schedule. I do intend to be at the theater as soon as it opens on Saturday morning to pick up the goodies sold at the merchandise store.

Mikimoto Sensei will always be my preferred artist/designer. However, I hope he could improve in the following three areas: 1. Some of his recent designs are waaay too similar. In fact, the Minmay in Macross the First looks like Asuna Elmarit (adult version) or Sophia Ferrell from Ecole du Ciel. 2. From time to time, Mikimoto-San will produce a piece of artwork that's below his normal standard of quality. Case in point: the Minmay (AI WA NAGARERU) promo card from the Macross CCG that's bundled in Macross ACE 2. 3. The lack of feminine Buxom main cast. Most of the full-figured females are borderline butch. Veffidas Feaze and pirate Captain Marie from Ecole du Ciel come to mind.
