    Several tweets clarify that the gaps are from handling the prototype so much. Mr K's Twitter also had someone asking "please price the YF-19 less than 40,000Y!", to which Mr K responded "it's not that much" .... i should hope so too... a lot less please! Then he says the price will be revealed in a hobby magazine on the 25th, so not much longer to wait!

    Maybe i got lucky, but mine that was shipped 3 weeks ago has all the "improvements" mentioned in that video already. The hand sockets were always easy, they never looked like they were going to crumble or collapse in, the paint is sharp, the rubber tracks don't come off easy etc.. Obviously some people have got duds, or broken things through carelessness, and the design is not without engineering issues - but i have no regrets, and it was *not* cheap! I couldn't imagine my collection without it now, so I'd recommend it greatly, but if possible, get your seller to inspect it before sending just to be safe, rather than missing out altogether.

    Strange you mention it won't be Bandai cause that was clearly who CollectionDX were teasing would do something back in Episode 61! In the end i just hope whoever does it, finally does it justice. My Toynami Lion Voltron looks like a baby's toy compared to... ..my MP Vehicle Voltron! It arrived earlier this week and i'd say overall i'm more than happy with it. Some people around the place have had QC issues and i wasn't completely exempt, one of my hand pieces (for holding spears/rotors) snapped in a minor fashion. But for me, all the positives far outweigh any negatives. It looks incredible on the shelf and is great fun to pose, being more capable than most of the toys in my collection. I ordered mine from Chimungmung and the service was excellent so they come highly recommended.

    One of mine had to be glued down. They only slide back on one way (there's a channel) to ensure they're aligned correctly ... so i'm not sure how wrong yours could be!

    I'm hoping the final product has a more noticeable (not much!) touch of blue in that dark grey shade. In the show & Macross Mecha Manual, it certainly appears to be more blue than dark grey. Will be happy either way though, it's looking great. I hope they haven't rushed it for the new-year sales season.

    I'm sure it's too early to tell whether the shoulder and hip joints will loosen like the 29, but are they using the same design or has it been modified? I'm holding out for Ozma, so i have a few months of collating feedback ahead of me!

    Not to steal your sale thunder Archer, but those that do want to pay full price will get another chance in December according to Amiami I hadn't thought it'd sold well enough to warrant a second run (never saw it go out of stock on Amazon Japan) but i guess it did!

    I think at this point, we've all read your posts... multiple times! But, have you read any of the replies people have posted in response? The ones that tell you how to tighten the ball joint by extending the foot all the way out and tightening the screw?

    They showed something (a prototype i believe) but had no-photos allowed. Normally that doesn't stop people, & someone on twitter mentioned he saw ppl taking photos - just seems none have surfaced as yet

    Those flaps sometimes stick up if the arms aren't parallel with the ground (rotation at the shoulder joint). Just fiddle until they sit nicely.

    It's a shame they didn't include it, because with the rotating cockpit gimmick, for once i might have been able to apply the sticker straight!
