    But that baldness is important aspect too . Anyway, not really a problem for me. I just hope it won't turn out like Miike's Ryu Ga Gotoku/Yakuza adaptation. The casts resemble the game perfectly but the story is kinda meh since Miike tried to experiment with it. This one looks faithful to the story.

    That's a good theory. I don't think there's anything in YF-29 that threaten or angered the Vajra. Yes, there are multiple quartz embedded in that plane, but those quartz logically will work for Alto's cause (relaying the song to Galaxy-controlled Queen Vajra) instead of against it. I mean, more quartz should work better than one necklace/earring. That "anti-vajra" specification probably only refer to its high performance. Also, many people here like or have nothing against YF-29 y'know , me included.

    Somebody ask me why Alto eject himself from his perfectly fine YF-29. I can't really answer that, so any idea?

    Or it could be Juagg, look at the top portion. It's not as rounded as Capule. Also, nothing said that those three will be MG. If two modes of Banshee displayed separately, most likely they will be HGs. And also yay for Duel!

    Maybe Kawamori himself mix n match the parts, found it to be good combination and then make Isamu as cameo to justify custom YF-19 appearance, not the other way around

    Out of boredom I tried combining Yamato YF-19 with super pack from DX VF-25. None of them I have are in proper color, but it works (kinda). That combo doesn't look out of place actually. I'm sure that properly modified and colored kitbash will look awesome.

    It may seem that CE has more MGs than other AU but actually they're incomplete. SEED lacks Justice and Providence to complete the nuclear trio, and Destiny is lacking Legend (poor Destiny, ganged by SF and IJ ). Not to mention the rest of original GAT-X.

    Poor Bridge Bunnies of Battle Frontier, getting slaughtered like that. I like the short haired one . Of all wacky costumes Sheryl & Ranka had, schoolgirl Ranka is the best. And if I have to choose, I prefer traditional concert like the one on Alcatraz. The singer, the band, and reasonable pyrotechnic on the stage. I just can't get into trippy visual "concert" like Ranka's debut. Maybe because I like Seikan Hikou better than Open Ranka, but I just don't feel enjoying those kind of show.

    Nah, Yurin is closer to Tiffa Adil from Gundam X down to her hair style. But of course people in 1996 might say that Tiffa looks and sounds an awful lot like Shakti So, episode 4.

    No, what I mean is that I don't have 5.1 system. If I play 5.1 with 2.0 system will the sound quality compromised? Like muffed sound or lack of bass.

    Well like I said before VS is more like fighting games, with attack/step cancel, feint and advanced split-second combo stuff (at least for melee units). Melee is indeed very risky, but it discouraged player from recklessly charging the enemy like a (good non-button mashing) fighting games. Not really matter for long range units though. And yeah, I know about Exia can hover, it's just that it should never ever have walking animation

    YF-19 Double Nuts for me. Technically it's not best, but I just love that color scheme.

    For one thing, I don't understand what Keith means with VS series have crap melee. I'm not that hardcore enough to explore all the melee combos but my impression is that VS series is basically 2 vs 2 fighting game. I like using Exia and Shining Gundam in GVGN + and they play well. I don't like how melee in Battle series is basically standard slash combo with minimal difference between units. And that's why the basic concept of VS series won't work for Macross. I personally prefer VS series than Battle series for fluid and varied animation between units (I dropped Assault Survive as soon as I saw Exia walk instead of floating ) but the concept won't work without heavy modification to the engine.

    No, Macross PSP games are using Gundam Battle series engine, not Gundam VS. They're entirely different.

    No, what I mean is Bandai in general; that all Bandai employees (at least those in Gunpla factory in Shizuoka(?), I might be wrong about this) use EFSF jacket as their daily uniform, not just that one guy or one division specialized in Gundam. I don't believe on "V1 is bad because it's designed with Gundam approach". High-end transforming Gundam toys like GFFMC are always accurate to lineart. V1 is more like designed with Takatoku chunky monkey in mind. Who knows, maybe Kawamori himself asking for it since the 1/72 models are close to lineart. So he or someone else asking for different approach instead. He was there, he checked the prototype. If that thing was not to his liking he can object. But eh, that's just speculation in my part. And it's speculation too that Bandai guy was thinking about Gundam when he met with Kawamori . So, back to the topic, what about the wings? Is it straight or slightly curled like we panicked worried before?

    Well, in the game it switched from/into regular gunpod instantly the moment we press the button. And I don't think that Mega Beam Launcher (mass produced version of Gamlin's makeshift beam cannon perhaps?) ever existed outside the game. So we'll never know.
