It's probably the Read-Me file for Adobe Illustrator or Acrobat again. I would bet serious money there is nothing at all coherent written on that page that at all relates to the series or says anything comprehensible.. It's a read me or it's gobblety gook.

I agree that the designation is off-- I could see it being a VF-6 or a VF-7 or even VF-3, but not a VF-32. Props for anyone designing their own valk, though. Cool gunpod design-- hell-cool design overall-- just poor choice of jet-form.

The story or drawings? the next bit of writing will somehow include the phrase "The last of the shells were spent. The gunpod clattered like the ratchet-teeth of a rollercoaster catching the lift to the top, the barrels' spin ceased." or something like that, I've been dying to use that effect. I am going to do a series of drawings of the LRF on white paper, both fighter and battroid, now that I finalized the design and it doesn't look like absolute hell. That's very true, I guess for all his denials of such, Alto is still hypertraditionalist and conservative japanese at the core. Now that you've raised the point it makes me reevaluate his actions quite a bit. If he's thinking with a 1925-vintage typical japanese convservative mindset and morals and expectations of behavior the way he acts makes a lot more sense. Also, the "I won't believe it until I have proof" ideology has strengthened as the imagination of the western civilization continues to wither away. Maybe I should start thinking about this with more of an eye to japanese drama than to western science fiction and drama plots. Or we could have "The Hills" on Frontier. MisaForever, speculation is *fun*! I'd rather guess and be wrong than worry about shielding myself from disappointment. If I was afraid of being disappointed, I wouldn't have a favorite driver in F1 (who isn't that bastard Lewis Hamilton).

That's some useful insight that I don't get from my girlfriend (okinawan with western upbringing-- american dad/japanese mother-- she went to the english-speaking international HS)... she's useful in the common societal context but doesn't understand the 'unexpressed love' theme common in quite a few anime series. what baffles me though, is given how oversexualized anime has become, their is still extreme conservatism and restraint regarding the expression of love, public displays of affection and so-on. what do you think?

I happen to own an import Dreamcast version of Macross M3... Is this worth anything? I don't play it and I would sell it if it was worth something. I guess it is good to have for reference... I played it a few times but without a translation of what was going on I had a hard time appreciating it. It looked good and played better than that crappy Robotech Battlecry game. And my girlfriend would not help me translate it I paid $75 for it new back in the day... Best, RF-26

I won't be surprised if I walk into Costa Mesa Mitsuwa and hear "triangler" or "Lion" in a few months... Costa Mesa mitsuwa always seems to be a few months behind the times.. By any chance does anyone have the Mitsuwa "GO HOME" music they play about 15 minutes before closing, to subtly tell you "time to go home"... it's a very soft, almost lullaby-esque instrumental. I want it >_<!!
