eh...there was no field to be seen in MacrossF really, the only badly worn valk we see in the field is Brera's -27 at the end of the series. I don't count the numerous incidents with Alto, he must have destroyed quite a few white F's. Back to this custom, I really like the color, much better than green.

I found this randomly and not sure if it has been posted before, since it's a Japanese blog, I guess the guy is in Japan. I like the color scheme, not so much the liberal use of decals for the callsign # I think it looks better than the supposedly anime accurate green!

Official Bandai 1/60 Scale DX Toy Thread Ver.6

OK, maybe I made it sound too dramatic. I meant there is no evidence there is a stand for it (as Graham said but with more material evidence) and that nobody seems to care (because the model/toy is great and the lack of a stand will not be a deal breaker). I would certainly like a new sleeker stand, not the standard SMS one, on one side as Graham said Brera was not part of the SMS, and in the real world, that bulky thickish stand would defeat the purpose of "sleekness inflight" displaying. -

I asked the same question before, probably more than once. My guess is no, and nobody else seems to care. I'd personally hate to display the rifle attached and opened, gears down. The -27 looks mucho cooler with the gun inflight...which rises the question: do we want a fugly stand? -

The VF-25 looks funny when compared side by side with the VF-27, looks like the -25 is shrugging or having a major neck and shoulder pain. On this photo they did use the Lucifer with more printed details! the randomness is killing me! Will the final release come with them? -
yes! that's the one tiny pic! thx

Same here! I am a bit concerned about those elusive printed details though, they seem to come and go randomly depending on the batch of pictures...not that their absence will deter me from making the -27 my first DX really, but hopefully they will have those pad printed details. -
Should've been more clear, I know that picture, I was talking about one with a close up of the text and the right side of that scan...now I can't find it here nor on the scoop thread, maybe it was someplace else? but where if not mw????

I wish they retooled the VF-25 to the new standard set by the -27. I'd buy it in a heartbeat, unfortunately I am not so optimistic, and patiently waiting for the -27 release, it's so hard not to keep coming back to this thread! -

I am so afraid it is going to be quick sold out in HK the split second it hits the streets. -

Can I shamelessly ask for scans of the subject?? -

that must be the poster they announced a while back with the unpainted VF-27 sample. With the 27 release on Feb and the VF-25 due in March, you're supposed to have a big poster...the scan is a bit on the small side to tell what exactly it looks like. -
WOW...Super-macro-Klan! I was wondering when they'd come up with this. Any more info??

Any new pictures of the VF-27 DX on magazines or lurking on the net? The waiting is driving me crazy! -
Redboost must be regretting having asked the question...

Mind you, are those toys' surfaces smooth (as in polished) or are they textured (as in "matte")? I would not sand and polish a textured surface as typically found on Yamato valks.

I see you shortened the sniper rifle, may I ask you why? the original length wasn't aesthetically appealing to you?

Pictures of the 2 broken shoulder connectors of the VF-1S Fokker, stad alone, first edition. Realized both were broken a while ago, the other example is in storage somewhere hard to reach at the moment. Wrote to Overdrive a long time ago and never got their reply... It's not a matter of changing the pin only: I think they should change the material of the piece, but metal may not do because the piece needs to be a bit flexible so it can pas over that bump to stay in place in battroid and gerwalk modes.

Do you still need replacement shoulder hinges for your V.2 VF-1?
regult replied to David Hingtgen's topic in Toys
no, sorry for the lack of data, it's the superparts bundle. Bought it off a shop in Hong Kong not long after it was released, not ordered online. -

I voted already, so I cannot vote again for multiples, but I should've done so! I already broke my VF-1S Roy as stated, and the VF-1J Hikaru is also showing stress marks after only a pair of transformations. Both have the original connecting piece with the knurled pin. They're great toys, except for that small piece of broken plastic that prevents them from striking proper poses in battroid and gerwalk modes! -
solid? no, legs don't hold position in fighter mode, and crotch articulation is quite lose in battroid mode. Gerwalk (VF-25F) is almost impossible to stand on it's own legs. mine was bluetac'ed in fighter mode for a while, and I have all 3 versions released! Careful: the -G has a 1/72 scale gun...

VF-1S Roy, standalone first issue, broken since months ago, never got the replacement parts from Overdrive. -

I assume that the model has a hard time standing on its own legs in Gerwalk mode WITH KNEES FLEXED FORWARD so you decided to leave them straight for the photo shooting?
