    The amount of CDs alone is...daunting, to say the least. Hey, at least it's not floating rocks, which is what everyone else seems to remember about it. As we said, I think the music was serviceable, but not much more. I think yes and no... for the love triangle and the ending? No. For the death flags around Ozma, yes. I'm absolutely certain that Yoshino was trolling us with that. I should qualify that. More JAPANESE women THAT I'VE TALKED TO prefer Ranka. As I believe I said in the podcast, it seems like most short women prefer Ranka. More tall women prefer Sheryl. I know, right? But seriously... that was supposed to be the main love triangle. Go figure. I suppose you could say the same thing about Sharon Apple's projected image. Of course, Sheryl's a GOOD guy... And I'm pretty sure that Seiya died at the end, so what do I know? Anyway, Aya Endo recently floated the theory that Sheryl might stay in the coma forever, so who knows? I doubt they dug that deep into continuity... probably just picked a Zentradi surname out of a hat. As for being "something to see," we'll let you know in a few months...

    Read the manga. It addresses your disappointment with the God Warrior. Also, for many other reasons, as great as the movie is, it's not as great as the manga.

    Doesn't have the same ring to it, but yeah...it's safer. I'd just be happy to see the old Imai kits reissued. I made a TON of those back in the day... EDIT: Galient, though. GALIENT IS BACK!! NEW TOYS, NEW SERIES, LIFE-SIZE STATUE, EVERYTHING!!!

    And I post my rebuttals just to keep expectations from going sky-high, and then harden into bitter disappointment (which, by the way, we're already seeing with the Macross 30th anniversary. Some idiot posted on Wikipedia that a new TV series is coming -which it's not- and now a bunch of people are saying, "WHAT??? WE WERE PROMISED A NEW TV SERIES!!!"). Yanking chains is all well and good, but when there's an angry mob with pitchforks, are you going to be the one to say, "Sorry... I was the one who made that all up"?

    Thanks! I pride myself on punctuality. EDIT: But really... yeah the Blu-Ray is arriving next year. And if there's a sequel or remake (or hell, even another book) coming out, I'll happily eat my words. But I don't see any kind of Mospeada revival coming. Really.

    No, I saw the talk show given by her and Tomo Sakurai, and at one point, they gave away two signed posters via "Rock Paper Scissors." Everyone stood up, they did the moves, and if we beat them, we could keep standing. If we lost or were tied, we had to sit down. I lost to Tomo Sakurai pretty quickly, but with Aya, I found myself winning. Finally, there were only three of us left standing. She said, "Okay, this is the last one," and then made her move. She had rock. I had rock. The other two guys had scissors. She stood there for a while, and said, "Eh? What do I do?" Finally, she said, "Okay, you all lost. Everybody, let's stand up and start over."
