Yeah, I know. Even some western fans are conflicted about them. On the one hand, they provide the best way for western fans to enjoy certain shows (like, say, Dougram or Braigar...or 銀河英雄伝...or Macross 7 and Frontier) that would never be released officially in the west. On the other hand, they make it much easier for people to steal anime. It's a difficult situation, and I can see both sides pretty clearly. I find this one interesting, because at some points in the video, the background seems to be modeled after the REAL Griffith Park, not the Frontier version. Maybe it's just my imagination... I'll say it does! And, uh... "Macross K [Kakizaki]":

I don't think he's a member here. He runs one of the first and most legendary fansub groups, called "Central Anime." They fansubbed Macross 7 back in the '90s, and also fansubbed all of Legend of the Galactic Heroes.

As I said... only fighter modes shown for SV-51 and VF-3000, and far fewer squadron markings for VF-0 than for the previous subjects.

Skimming the article, they don't appear to say. However, they do give a straight definition for "Kadun": 禍 (evil, calamity, curse, misfortune).

We should be so lucky... I think it's safer not to think of this as a new Macross movie. Think of it instead as a 90-minute commercial for the Mac7 Blu-ray set, designed to make it appealing for the Frontier fans.

Got it yesterday. I found it a little skimpy compared to the other books (although it's funny that they added a biography of Mao Nome). So yeah...VF-0, Ghosts, Reactive Armor, the Asuka-II, the SV-51, and the VF-3000. Only fighter modes are shown for the last two. Markedly fewer squadron markings for the VF-0, but since far fewer of them were produced, I guess that's okay... but they don't even show Shin's VF-0D there.

True. To say nothing of the fact that the Macross 7 movie was 30 minutes, not 45...

Just clarify even further, the new Fire Bomber song is entitled "Virgin Story," and the Sheryl, Ranka, and Fire Bomber song has the rather unwieldy title, "Nyan Nyan FIRE!~Totsugeki Planet Explosion."

Unfortunately, the VF-25 Master File book doesn't say. It's also, again, worth noting that the Macross Olympia story in the book is not part of the "official setting" (i.e. It's not canon).
