I listened, and it was extremely good! You've definitely got a good show on your hands! That said... your co-host on Ep. 14 is misinformed... "Clash of the Bionoids" wasn't a fandub, but an official, paid-for product. And HG was DEFINITELY "minding the store" when the AnimEigo and ADV SDFMTV DVDs came out (AnimEigo used HG's master tapes, and ADV used AnimEigo's restored footage). Not EVERY blockage of Macross is due to HG. But yeah, other than that, a fun listen, and I can't wait to hear more!

That would require co-ordinating with different time zones... we have enough trouble getting together as it is, and we all live in the same city! (Although, admittedly, most of that trouble is due to the fact that I work weekends and holidays, and no one else does...)

I already mentioned that, but yeah... the joke's on us who paid to see it in a movie theater, huh? (Although I really shouldn't complain, since it provided me with a chance to meet Fukuyama. Infinitely more satisfying than the movie itself...)

In one way, very high. In another way, who knows? The problem is that it follows Big West's line (started in '94), that DYRL is a movie-within-in-a-movie... and yet Kawamori himself doesn't seem to endorse this view. And yet, he endorses the Chronicle... So yeah, anyone's guess, I suppose.
