    Funnily enough, before Episode III came out, I thought they would do exactly that... make it look like Anakin died, three-quarters of the way through the film, then jump ahead six months or a year, with the Emperor's new assistant Darth Vader gaining fame (and Padme, sick and dying, but taking care of Leia). And I'm with RenegadeLeader1... I don't really care what happens with Star Wars anymore... although I'm still kinda curious, I'll admit.

    Enh, I'd just say "the Macross" (the text literally says "Macross kan" i.e. "Macross ship"), but that always tends to get left out, because it's not needed in English. Pretty much everything else seems in order.

    I gotta admit that, 3 issues in, I'm not sure this is worth double-dipping. I mean, *I* don't mind, because (again) my first edition is packed away in my Mom's attic back in California, but it seems like most of the substantive stuff (so far) is reprinted from the first version. That said, I'm really enjoying the "Episode Sheets," and it'll be nice to get pages relating to the Macross F movies.

    No, the story was always meant to end with Love Drifts Away, although the final episode had a sorta epilogue to it where its fifteen years later, Hikaru had died in a test-piloting accident, and Misa launches as the Captain of a Megaroad ship.

    No, it doesn't. "Dana Sterling" becomes a man, and "Mark" and "Becky" live happily ever after ON EARTH, but the SDF-1 is nowhere to be seen.

    I'm thinking both. There's the Marduk legend of the Alus (figurative)...which is eventually revealed to be the Macross (literal). Just my guess, though... I've got nothing to back up my claim.
