  1. You read all of Agent ONE's M7 posts, didn't you...? He mentioned assless chaps AT LEAST five times per day at the height of his reign of M7 terror... Anyway, if you don't know what they are, ain't nobody gonna tell you...although a google image search should make for some *ahem* interesting viewing...but don't say I didn't warn ya.
  2. On the contrary, I think the REAL VFTF1 is back...the one who said this... ...and probably loves Sheryl. The imposter was the Basara-loving, Sheryl-hating being we have seen on these boards for the last year or so. Either that, or VFTF1 is a man of great whim and fickleness...pray he never gains power, or else none of us is safe...
  3. Possibly...or maybe they just produced a lot of Valks in preparation for the big Bodolzaa blowout battle... When getting the old Imai kits, I always wondered about Lt. Warmaker in his cannon fodder 1A, numbered 117. Did he make it through Space War I alive...?
  4. Well, d3v got the info from the Macross Compendium, but there aren't many pictures there, so you might want to check Mr. March's site.
  5. Good point. Hmm...too bad Isamu wasn't aboard Macross 7. If he had been able to hook up with Sivil, the whole series could've been over after twenty-five episodes...
  6. But they're not...Kakizaki was 111 and Max was 112. The only real holes I can find in the "Valks being given out in sequential order theory" is first: Hikaru's VF-1D was 102 (and maybe the VT numbering is different, but I refuse to believe there were over a hundred trainers), and second: that Max got VF-1J 202, and then a couple of episodes later, Millia got 303. Itano circuses look insanely awesome. Visors coming down look...vaguely interesting. At best. (Granted, as visors go, those were primo, but still...)
  7. QFT. (Because beauty is truth, truth beauty.) I probably won't be getting the Blu-Ray disc anytime soon, but perhaps someone finds some way to share this with the rest of us... Not that I would condone such flagrantly illegal behavior, of course.
  8. Well, it's "Sheryl kei" (シェリル系)...which I've only ever seen in terms like "Visual kei" and "Shibuya kei," where it's not a possessive... And I'm guessing that Minjiko is another singer on the Galaxy Network Charts (or the Universal Board, as they appear to be calling it now), but I'm by no means sure.
  9. Possibly true, but either MisaForsaken is better at it, or else controversy sells...because, to my chagrin, Klan is beating out Nanase by a healthy margin...
  10. Stop talking about Heron like that!
  11. I certainly HOPE that the writers for the show are writing the blogs! It would make me sad to learn than the Bandai Office janitor or someone was writing them... *pauses and waits for someone to say, "You mean Sheryl and Ranka AREN'T REAL???"*
  12. He tries, but it turns out that can generate a certain form of that makes them better . Is THAT what that was...? Wow, Yoko Kanno makes EVERYTHING sound completely different, doesn't she?
  13. Yeah...but we all knew that about Isamu already. But is does make me wonder...is "Girl Hunt" an interest that's useful in the UNS...? BTW, a long time ago, I started writing a fanfic about the Planet Hydra Incident, but I couldn't quite get it off the ground...I had Komillia Maria Jenius as Isamu's squadron leader. Part of my attempt to write a series of short stories to brdige the gap between 2012 and 2040...Claudia going to see DYRL in 2031 was the only one that really "worked," though...
  14. Thank you!
  15. Maybe everyone will die EXCEPT Ozma (Focker) and Luca (Kakizaki)...? It would certainly be a twist...
  16. Roy Focker...Captain Kinryu...the squadron leader who the young hero pilot looks up to is almost sure to die. but who knows? Frontier certainly seems to have a lot of surprises up its sleeves...
  17. Thanks guys! Very cool! Although Sheryl seems to be more full of herself than I thought...unless she's simply "acting" in her blog, which wouldn't surprise me in the least...
  18. So I finally got off my duff and started translating the OST 1 liner notes. Most of it is relatively easy to understand, but I'm somewhat baffled by the last bit here about "Sheryl style" and "Mijinko style." If anyone wants to help out, I'd be grateful...and of course, I'll have more of it up soon.
  19. And always remember: MEAN = FUNNY
  20. YOU DIDN'T SEE IT??? Man, was it ever awesome! The Frontier ran into , and together they found the ! and sang a duet, and then in a really gory scene. Now is of the Frontier, and Michael ! (I guess he really DOES like older women! ) Oh, and the next ep preview showed ! DAMN, this show is great! Start looking for the episode now! And if you can't find it, KEEP LOOKING UNTIL YOU DO!
  21. My best guess is that they picked numbers that were easy to remember, not numbers that made sense.
  22. How can you say that? Now the Robotech Fairy will come to your house on Robotech Day and will glue your Macross DVDs shut with rubber cement and take all of your Yamatos, leaving Toynami Masterpiece Editions in their place.
  23. Yes, I know. In real life, it's the 109 Bulding. In Macross Frontier it's (I believe) 119. Guess I could've made that clearer...
  24. Oh, it was worse than that...according to the old Imai model kits, Kakizaki was 111 and Max was 112. Later, Max's VF-1J was 202 and Millia's was 303.
  25. Are you insinuating that Dancing with the Stars is NOT a high-quality, life-improving television masterpiece...?
