  1. It'll probably end up being in the next book.
  2. Huh... some wag has clearly done some work with Google Translate...
  3. Some news on the 1/72 J/A Gerwalk. It'll come with a TV-style pilot (!!!FINALLY!!!), and have decals to make all three Vermilion Team Valks. http://www.hasegawa-model.co.jp/product/25/
  4. ^THIS^ He's in the credits, listed as "Isamu."
  5. O... Kay...
  6. I think you may have missed the point of Frontier...
  7. Uh, so was the Vajra planet... else why call it "the Vajra planet"?
  8. Since the two shows were released concurrently, I think that's kinda splitting hairs...
  9. A couple things to bear in mind... first, Netflix doesn't exist in Japan. Heck, video rental stores are still big! (Hulu, however, does exist, but I'm not sure how popular it is... most of my Japanese friends use it only to watch American TV shows.) Next, it's a TV series. TV anime is generally aimed at junior high school kids (yes, even Attack on Titan), so characters tend to be around the same age as the target audience. If it were an OVA or something, it could be different... but it's not.
  10. No, unfortunately. They're not completely awful, but they're far from great.
  11. If that means Nanase appears, too, then I'm all for it.
  12. And according to the VF-1 Master File, the SDF-3 is Britai's flagship. Heavens! What does it all MEAN???
  13. Pretty much, yeah. I'm surprised they're doing the auditions already, though... it seems WAY too early for casting.
  14. I'm sure they'll find a habitable planet very soon, and we'll be hearing a ton of news about where the Megaroad ended up.
  15. I'm not sure it was budget constraints as much as it was time. Renato has mentioned before that he thinks the second movie was the one they really WANTED to make, and I agree. The first movie is the only one with reused footage, so they used that to buy time to make the second one. That said, I really liked the Frontier movies. The first one isn't great, but the new battles and "Universal Bunny" are wonderful. And the second one really blew me away in the theater... even when I saw it for the fourth time, and it was 4:00 AM.
  16. The comic started in 2000. The flashbacks started in 2004. The comic ended in 2010. The anime is clearly different. But we've only seen as much of it as anyone has. Thus, NO ONE has any answers, except the staff.
  17. I answered your questions, didn't I? If I didn't, here's the low-down: The comic started in 2000. The flashbacks started in 2004. The comic ended in 2010. The anime is clearly different. But we've only seen as much of it as you have. Thus, NO ONE has any answers, except the staff. :-)
  18. Calm down, yourself. YES, the manga covered the whole series, but the flashbacks to Char and Sayla's childhood didn't begin until Vol. 9. The anime is a different animal. We'll find out HOW different eventually. Is that the answer you wanted?
