*sigh* That's one that I want, too. It's amazing...there's, like, around 20 Macross 7 CDs out there, and yet they still have about an album's worth of unreleased music. Why didn't they put all of that out instead of making English Fire...?

Sorry, you're stuck. Now, there IS something on macrosshare (in the soundtracks section) called, I believe, "Voices Album." It's not official, so I've never checked it out, but perhaps it has the song in decent quality... That said, "Decent Quality" and "Macrosshare" don't always go hand in hand...

Flashback 2014 is just Flashback 2012. The official Macross II timeline sets in, oddly enough in 2014 (See, redwolf? It just creates confusion). 2036 and ELS (Eternal Love Song) are games. Not sure what console they were for, though... That page isn't the most reliable. As Seto said, the Macross II OST2 booklet lists it as 2092, which at least passes the "circumstantial evidence" test (i.e. Macross II came out in 1992, so they just pushed forward 100 years). Seto seems quite set on that date, and can back it up with at least two sources. Me, I'm betting he's right, but I'm still waiting for Macross Chronicle to cover it before I get all "set in stone" about it.

It was only five months? Hmm. Can you tell it's been a while since I sat down and watched DYRL? I even had a brain fart and forgot that the Spetember 11 speech happens AFTER Misa and Hikaru come back, i.e. right before the big, big battle. So yeah, it HAS to be 2009.

That's how I felt when I finished reading all of "Area 88." It was like the thirteen-year-old boy I used to be had been living inside me, holding his breath all that time, and finally got to exhale. I still haven't seen any original Southern Cross besides the old Robotech Perfect Collection versions, but it's on my list.

That's the one that drives me crazy. More than "Focker," more than "Vrlitwhai" and "Quamzin," more than "Michael"...because I can't tell if "Megaroad" and "Megalord" are supposed to be two different names or not. My feeling is "not," but I have no way to tell. Trying to find "official" romanizations is most often an exercise doomed to failure. Especially with an '80s anime.

I wouldn't call it "Flashback 2014," since that's not the title, but that's just me. DYRL is supposed to be set in 2009, not 2010, but I guess a lot depends on exactly how long Hikaru and Misa were on earth...if it was more than a year, then there you go. Otherwise, Minmay says it's been, what, eight months since the Macross launched, and the Peace Agreement happens on September 11. Other than that, it looks good. Although I think there should be a little better indication that Mac7 Encore happens DURING the TV series, not after it.

Like others, I completely missed that when I saw it last week... This should be Macrossworld's official "Moment of Zen."

It's been a while since I looked at those subs, to be honest...so I'm sorry I misquoted, and I'm sorry if I offended you. I wasn't trying to start any arguments over this, and I certainly wasn't trying to drive you away from Macrossworld. If you think the meaning is the same, that's fine. But yeah, I do think it's screwed up, in that it's a mistranslation of the line. If you want to know my reasoning, let me know. Otherwise, I'd rather not burden the thread with grammar and linguistics.
