Anyway, you CAN'T be serious...a new VF-1 technical book, TWO magazines devoted EXCLUSIVELY to Macross, a concert coming up, followed by two Frontier movies, and (*ahem*) translations of Macross comics, novels, and drama albums that have never been available in English before. And everything has already been said...? If you have nothing to add to the Macross discussions, that's fine; you don't have to post. But to imply that Harmony Gold and Robotech is the only vital topic here (and that the rest of us are wasting our time) is both wrong and insulting.

Simple rule: If you have to ask, "Is this acceptable?" then don't post it. Pretty clear, I would think.

Forgive me, but I'm losing patience with this debate. Seems like a few people trying to push the envelope as far as they can...but why bother? Does the desire to post fanart tits run so deep that it's impossible to ignore? What I find interesting is that we have a number of members who post almost EXCLUSIVELY in the Robotech thread. Not that there's anything wrong with that, of course, but there are quite a few people that I see a lot here, but never in any of the "Macross-centric" portions of the site....which strikes me as a little strange. Well...if that's true, it's quite dickish of both Tatsunoko and Harmony Gold.

Azrael once threatened me with a ban here...I *think* he was joking... Other than that, no. Although boxtorrents kept kicking me off because the version of Azureus I was using was too old, and it triggered their alarm system designed to catch people manipulating their stats. I wish I knew enough about programming to do something like that... Thankfully, even before I updated to a newer version, they must have fixed whatever was wrong with the system, because after a month or two, I went back and everything worked fine.

For the third time: WHY DOES TATSUNOKO'S VIEW MATTER, UNLESS WE'RE TALKING ABOUT THE ORIGINAL MACROSS SERIES?

Again, what does Tatsunoko have to do with anything except SDFM TV and DYRL? They own no rights to II, Plus, 7, Zero, or Frontier. I hope so. Spanish grammar isn't so different from English...every sentence needs a subject and a verb, yes?

What quotes were you agreeing with? What's Medmap? What does Tatsunoko have to do with anything beyond the original series and DYRL? As I said, I'd LIKE to respond to your post, but I can't understand it. I'm not even asking you to turn the caps-lock off, just type with correct grammar. Surely that's not an impossible request...?

What's wrong with that? Is it too difficult for anyone to go to Danbooru and type "Macross" into the search engine there? If Macross World were the last safe haven for erotic anime art, I could understand the clamoring for shots of Sheryl's tits or Ranka bondage or whatever you guys are into, but any pics like that are easily viewable on other sites. Hell, just turn off the family filter and do a Google image search. You'll find everything you need and then some.

Same DAY, too. Considering that Minmay's birthday is October 10, and the Miss Macross Contest happens a week later...

The line was too long, the crowd was too big, and the weather was too hot and humid (even at 10 AM!) but I got my photos, which is all I really wanted. Well, except riding to Odaiba on the Yurikamome monrail and riding back on the waterbus. That always makes me feel like a kid again.

Oh, there were already more than two Eva universes. Sadamoto's manga is just as official as the series. And the connection between TV 25 and 26, and EoE is still a hotly debated topic. So there are at least three, possibly four. More if you include the OTHER comics and games. As for Asuka's name change, they never address it in the movie. Me, I think it has something to do with all the girls around Shinji having "-nami" in their name (and it's the same kanji for all of them, too): Ayanami Rei, Shikinami Asuka, Makinami Mari. So (perhaps) it was all done for assonance.

Don't forget Eva 2.0 (with the Macross Frontier trailer)! I saw that, too! But anyway, yeah. I took the pictures myself. Hell, I would've bought the Master Grade RX-78-2 Ver. Odaiba as well, but I had no space left in my luggage...

I wish it were a couple of months later, then I could see the concert AND the Macross F movie...as it is, I hope I'll have enough cash to go see the concert...
