Yes, yes, yes...that was truly one of the most heroic moments in the entire series so far. And no...my DVD provider DIDN'T bring Razor OR Season 4 today... But one thing I've been thinking about (don't answer please) is that...after Exodus, when the Colonials lost Hera, I though, "Well, at least they've still got one human/Cylon hybrid - Casey." But then of course, it turned out that Casey wasn't half-Cylon, but unbeknownst to all of us...they always had Nicky. No wonder there was the big deal about having Nicky on New Caprica rather than on Galactica... EDIT: Um, no edit here. Nothing happened. It's all in your imagination.

Just finished watching "Crossraods Part 1," and am about launch into Part 2. Like most of the two-parters, this felt like setup for something big, and I can't tell what it will be, or what will even be involved. On a personal level, things are already looking bad, with Lee alienating everyone around him (and quitting), Tigh apparently going kookoo (but if he's going kookoo, then why did Anders hear the music also? (And what's with Anders making the move on the new girl? Fast work, bro...)), and Roslin having cancer again (the prophecy said she wouldn't make it to earth...). So if things are unraveling in the micro, I'm guessing they'll move to the macro soon enough... EDIT: Oh, and I forgot to mention. Caprica punching Tigh was one of the greatest moments ever.

Based on that, I bet the new hero in Shadow Rising will be named "Dick Butcher." Which is the manliest name ever.

Well, a lot of the name changes seemed unnecessary. Leaving aside L/R and V/B differences ("Gloval" and "Global," are, in Japanese, the same name..you say "tomayto," I say "tomahto"), there are changes that leave me scratching my head. Why is "Grant" so much better than "LaSalle"? Does "Henry" sound a lot better than "Bruno"? "Lana Isavia" sounds more like a real name than "Nova Satori" does, and I certainly know more people named "Jim" than I do named "Lunk." So what was the point?

Funny...I had kind of the opposite reaction for a while. I wrote off Robotech a long time ago, and just kind of scratched my head at the antics of the crazier RT fans...but JT kind of got me interested again...not in the show itself, but in the goings-on in the fandom and the fan projects. But yeah...as Robotech.com has slid ever further into a persecution complex, and RobotechX has turned into a battleground of DougBendo vs. everyone else (if he gets so many downloads, why are there no "Disciples of Bendo" jumping to his defense?)...I've gotten sick of it, too.

Oh, I figured that would happen. Seriously, it's obvious...the clues are everywhere. And I predict the Cylons are going to reach Earth first, but, luckily, Will Smith is there. He'll shout "Welcome to Earth!" and punch Grace Park in the mouth.

Y'know, I could scrounge around for screenshots of the episode to figure out what Wanzerfan is talking about, but I'm sick of cleaning up his information messes for him. And he should be sick of other people cleaning his messes as well, but he's clearly not. ?????? What on earth are you talking about? The United States made Eva Units 3 and 4, but that was WAY later in the series. Oh, as Seto mentions (correctly) that the N2 mine is non-nuclear, but he fails to mention it's stronger than any nuclear bomb. Nuclear weapons do nothing against an Eva.

Yeah...I figured they were waiting for him to finish "The Majestic Stand" before releasing the translation, but considering that Volume XII of the Japanese Edition came out three years ago and doesn't finish the story...and no Vol. XIII forthcoming anytime soon...it's kind of fallen into the background for me as well. And his writing is really, really difficult for me to read. I depend on the translations to make it through. Yes, that was it! Thanks...that was going to bug me all day, I know. And I'd heard that it had moved over to Gears Online; I've checked it out once or twice, but never joined up...

Unfortunately, I'm not a good enough model-builder to justify spending the money on them. I did get a Wave plastic injection kit of the KOG quite a few years ago, which was fine, I suppose. I remember on the old Five Star Stories forum site (what was it called? I can't recall...it went down about six or seven years ago, I believe) there was someone who actually inquired about how much it would cost to get his Volks KOG plated with real gold. Turned out it was prohibitively expensive, but less, IIRC, than getting a "Twin Towers" Jagd Mirage kit.
