Please...Macross Zero may have had its flaws, but it REALLY doesn't deserve the indignity of being compared to the lameness of the Robotech Graphic Novel...

I find ALL of it disappointing...looking at Captain JLS talking about about the Legend of Zor really just makes me feel kinda...weird. But then, I find that pretty much ALL the Robotech secondary material I've seen just makes me shake my head...artists trying to draw "anime style" (and failing), writers twisting around the characters into things they were never meant to be... It's all rather baffling to me why ANYONE cares about it at all. Throw the trash into the dustbin, already.

Glad you liked it... And I liked the flashbacks; they didn't add much to the plot, per se, but I thought they added A LOT to the chararacters... To me, it was kind of like the creators were saying, "Oh, you think you know these people, inside and out? Well, here's a bunch of stuff you DIDN'T know. You're welcome." Lee's flashback especially was interestingly symbolic (or, at least, the most OBVIOUSLY symbolic of them). And, uh...don't expect much from Razor, since you've already seen Season 4. Yes, it's good on its own, but since it's meant to be primarily a tease for Season 4, that aspect will be a little blunted for you.

Okay...I haven't watched Eva in a while, and I don't have it with me here, so you'll have to indulge me a bit here...did they ACTUALLY come out and say that, or is there a healthy dose of speculation on your part thrown in...?
