    I'm trying to avoid hardcoding...and trying to override the subs doesn't seem to work...but ah well, I guess that's just how it goes...

    Okay...I'm baffled. I'm trying to "perfect" my subtitles for SDFM. I'm using Arial for nearly all the fonts, and yet... When I use Mplayer, it looks fine: But when I use VLC, it looks like this: I've tried adjusting the settings using both Jubler and Aegisub, I've tried the preferences on both Mplayer and VLC...I can't figure out why this is happening. Any answers...?

    Huh...I had no idea. Wow. Traider G7, then? Or the J9 trilogy (although I watched J9 II: Baxingar in Spanish as "Galdiadores del Espacio"...even though my Spanish was incredibly poor)...

    Okay...I finished the first book last week, and I'm now about 300 pages into Book Two. I also watched the first episode of the show, and...I didn't like it. Most of the adult actors are perfectly cast, but the kids are all too old...and as much as I tried, I couldn't get past that fact. Still the production values were excellent and the Others were really well-done.
