    I dunno, really...I mean, I like REM a lot...but really...I think they could've broken up in 1993, and their greatest albums would still have been made. Their breaking up now seems like too much of an anticlimax. And the Rolling Stones should've broken up after Exile on Main Street.

    Incidentally, Bendo's taking the coward's way out...he appoints a time in which I'm busy, and says, in effect, "THIS is the time we'll meet!" Well...I guess we all knew he was just a sad-sack idiot who couldn't face me, huh?

    Well...the second Frontier movie came out in late February, and that's coming out on DVD in Blu-Ray in a bit over a month. Macross the First is still continuing...and a couple of new manga volumes are coming out in a week or so.

    Does that count?

    Let me put it this way...we've had TONS of Robotech fans show up and ACT like they love both series...but then attack Macross fans while being nothing but courteous and dainty to Robotech fans.

    Pfft. Obvious troll is obvious. Unless, of course, you also showed up on Robotech.com and bashed their unthinking dislike of Macross. Did you? No...? Why not? Hell, they've got a whole thread about "Macross vs. Robotech." Go ahead and tell them how much you love Macross 7!

    True...but SAYING it's a mecha seems to indicate to people that that it's also "gritty" and "dark," which isn't the case here. (Never mind that the original Macross also isn't "gritty" or "dark," and neither are things like Xabungle...but that's western fandom for you...) At any rate, it's easier just to say "It isn't a mecha show" and let people figure it out for themselves from there.

    The thing about Macross 7 is, it's not a mecha show with some music...it's a music show with some mecha... ...and Macross Frontier was in development about the same time that Macross Zero was wrapping up...so yeah...I agree. No new Macross for the 30th.

    Hey, I specifically ASKED for ANY of his 6,000 lessoners to request it a long time ago. Ya wanna know how many responded...? ZERO. That's right...I blatantly insulted Doug Bendo...and NONE of his supposed fans came to his defense. Kinda sad, isn't it? EDIT: This time, however, I told Memo to tell Doug to contact. And we all know that Memo knows how to get things done...right...?
