  1. Just put that 00 Raiser on the back of the back burner. You don't need it. Can't stand 00... Anyway, I have beaten backlog. The way to do it is to stay off of MW.
  2. Even in black, there should have been a bit more grey. The problem with black paint like that is it makes it impossible to visually guide the plane down to the carrier. If it was a touch lighter, the carrier crew who know what they're looking for can guide it and the enemies who don't can't find it. Can't wait to see this nemesis of yours.
  3. Not yet, Wolfman. Workin' it step by step. However, it'll be a while, since I can't access my home PC right now.
  4. That meme is way too overly used lately... At least this time it's done somewhat originally...
  5. Well, kinda. Pretty much, without the kung-fu. Also, this one's a girl.
  6. NICE. Though it occurs to me: I can't find Michael ANYWHERE!
  7. It was looking at the Fighter mode of the VF-1, modeled much after my favorite plane, the F-14, in my dad's copy of Robotech Art 1 that got me into Macross, originally. I started looking into Robotech, with my dad's help, and discovered the truth and blah blah blah... The VF-1's fighter mode is very pretty. Not quite beautiful, but very pretty. The way its parts and features are displayed in the other modes shows how much care was put into the whole thing to make it a Real Robot mecha.
  8. Happy belated birthday, Minmay! Shi- I just realized I gotta start getting my pilot's license soon, if I wanna beat my dad at his 20-year quest. That, and, so I win the bet my girlfriend, who's exactly a month and a day older than Minmay, and I have going. You put the rest together.
  9. Even the Japanese characters there are similar to マクロス... What is that oddball character? Or am I just seeing it wrong?
  10. I keep coming across things with LEDs in them... It's like the Hory Froating Head is telling me to make sure to put lights in the (non-Macross-related) thing I'm working on. THIS ARE LOOK AMAZING.
  11. DAMN! I agree with Max Jenius. The black is too... Yeah. Other paintschemes would own, though. I LIKE GUN. GUN IS GOOD. GUN IS FRIEND. Excillion, it's a VF-1Z in the same sense the VF-1B exists. It's got an S head but assumed other parts that differentiate it.
  12. Am I the only one who instantly compared the new Super Pack to Ace Combat 6's CFA-44 Nosferatu with EML? Two sniper rifles, delta-ish wing, no horizontal stabilizers, canted tailplanes, massive thing on the back...
  13. It exists. It's called Robotech: Battlecry. Stupid Gamecube game...
  14. It occurs to me that much of the citizens of South Ataria Island got blown up by the Macross cannon early on... Kind of. At least their homes were destroyed. They were behind the ship, though, watching the ceremony Anyway, I did say fiery death by Zentraedi lasers next March. That's how most of the world died. In fact, as I recall it, that's Alaska Base, too.
  15. "Jingle Bombs, Jingle Bombs Mine blew up, you see Where are all the virgins that Bin Laden promised me?" -Achmed, the Dead Terrorist
  16. I've always used HLJ because their stock seems to be a bit better-endowed than Over-Drive's. I'm so pissed off because they had a sale until the 28th of last month where paying through PayPal meant free shipping, which can get as high as $55 for one item. (Perfect Grade raggle-fraggle!) But, I always find what I want on HLJ at MSRP with usually cheap and very reliable shipping. I ordered my two 1/48s at Christmas time and I got them in days. It's a matter of preference, I guess, and mine's HLJ, simple as that.
  17. No, it'd be a Kamikakizaki!
  18. You know, I have this scar that looks just like a ropey, red EKG blip, and I'm gonna have an EKG scale tattooed around it with one of the scale lines curled up into "Still Alive". Also, I kinda want a UNS kite on one shoulder and a Zent insignia on the other. EDIT: WAITASECOND! That post had nothing at all to do with the topic at hand. Nice VF Girls, Drew. Kinda loli-proportioned for my tastes, but the art is still good. And, you know, any job will hire you as long as your tattoos aren't visible during work. If it's on your torso or upper arm, there should be no issue. And since most office workers wear long shirts, anyway, it really opens up anything but the face and neck. Even at 15, I've been to many job interviews (Gotta get a part-time job to buy my own Macross stuff since my parents won't) and they ask all the same questions. "Do you have any visible tattoos?" You can have a career with tats, but only if you place them reasonably.
  19. Huh... I live in Texas. What does that give me? Perhaps, a fiery death by Zentraedi lasers next March. Perhaps, not. It occurs to me I live near a Lockheed plant on a Naval Air Station. Perhaps there are such defense craft there? UN Marines!
  20. They're working more on VF-11s. Now, I want to see a MAXL. I like delta-winged valks.
  21. I know this, but I'm saying I haven't seen that particular image before. I'd seen others illustrating the wing design, but that one notsomuch.
  22. They own the Dachsunds, but I'm fairly certain the French Toast belongs to and can only be legally distributed by Pierre.
  23. Something I threw together nice and fast-like:
  24. As has been said before, sometimes weapons come before agility. Destroids, being ground-bound anyway, can be made even heavier and larger to carry more weapons. I mean, I consider them to be walking artillery squads. Later on, though, VFs were created with better weapons capacities. The VF-25 is a perfect example of this. Armored Packs have more missiles than I can count. And thanks to the boosters they implement, the craft is capable of the same acceleration as an un-augmented VF-25. However, even this isn't enough. The VB-6 Koenig Monster is a super-heavy Variable Bomber, designed to take the incredibly powerful, though slow and unwieldy, HWR-00 Mk. II Monster and make it up to par with current Variable Fighters. It's much faster and more capable a machine than its predecessor and it can take advantage of all sorts of things that even a VF can't, namely superior size. They're freakin' huge. Bigger in Battroid mode, too. Even Red Vajra are dwarfed, to put it in perspective. Though, it's not very good at air-to-air, or even S-A combat, so smaller destroids like the Cheyenne are placed on ships to act as moveable anti-air turrets. Most destroids aren't needed anymore. Just the superheavies and the ultralights.
