No, the Super Class was listed as 8. Supers (Original tentative name for Executor class) were a cover-up for an oversight committee, where all of the stats were fudged and funds misappropriated to make it seem like something far smaller for the Empire to worry about. They're listed as 8 km in length. Executors' final statistic is 19km long. Eclipse runs 17km long, but is many times larger and has a superlaser with enough power to evaporate a planet's atmosphere and break through planetary shields. If you stick to the original proportions, you're still at these stats.

Well, if I had a mic, I could definitely do more than one voice. SchizophrenicMC has its purposes.

Firing the gunpod in fighter mode-- dangerous?
SchizophrenicMC replied to Syngyne's topic in Movies and TV Series
Dude, that's undeniable proof of what I'm saying (At least about the sniper. No news on the QBC.). Also, it looks like it'd make a damn good-looking wallpaper. Good proportions for one, knowwhatImean? -
Macross Frontier and prior Macross mysteries

That's called Tesseraction. Manipulation of time to reach places isn't technically FTL, since you don't move. The universe warps around you. Anyone who knows the book of which I speak gets a point. -
Dammit! If I only had a mic... GRR. Damn my cheap parents' ways, not letting me get one...

The scale is off. Halos are >13000 km. I swear, Cortana said it at one point... Easy indicator: That's an Earth-class planet in the center of the Ark, being strip mined for materials to build installations. Given that the Ark is 7 halos wide (Bungie + 7 = MacF + 25), the Ark owns Halos... Actually, it quite literally owns the halos... Again, scale's wrong. The Ark isn't 9 Halos in width, it's 7. A-ha! Eclipse, the largest of the Star Dreadnoughts. (Yes, they misspelled Dreadnaught. No, it's not a super star destroyer. That was actually a misinformation campaign with a lot of misappropriated funds going into the Executor and Eclipse classes, as well as the second death star) Edit: Also, the scale is off on this one. Executors run at 19000m, not 17600. That was a misappropriation, again, although it was the same as the DSII.

Macross Frontier and prior Macross mysteries

A) Kinda Like Fold. B ) Hyperspace and Slipspace. That's why ships "Jump" into them: the portal opens and they boost the engines to full. In Halo, it's even more visible as a huge portal, similar to a MacF fold gate, opens. (Although you can see it in SW if you look closely) However, Hyperspace is interwoven with real space, apparently. If a ship passes too close to a gravitational field, terminalized as a Mass Shadow in Star Wars, it pulls out so it won't smash into anything. That's why hyperspace isn't straight lines. That's the 2nd reason the Falcon moves faster: Its nav systems can plot more efficient routes. (Given, it has a .5 class h-drive, the 3rd-fastest in the galaxy. There are 2 faster ships than Solo's, and they're both owned by bounty hunters...) I can't even explain slipspace... -
The higher the quality, the better. If it's the highest you can manage, no one can hold it against you.

There used to be a Robotech cardboard SDF-1 that stood that tall, given, it was in cruiser mode... I say RT because I've never seen the box it comes in without the RT logo... 1/200 Scale FTW! It'll go with MT's Daedelus!

Firing the gunpod in fighter mode-- dangerous?

MacF 25: "Alto! I entrust this to you!" So, we know the Sniper and the GU-17 have the same hardpoint, at least. I would assume that since they're competing, they have to be able to use the same weaponry. That's how it is today, and it's quite similar to how it was in Plus... It is mounted. Look closely. I think March has a pic, but then again, I think March has a pic of everything. -
Your point? And, anime, official numbers show 900km for DSII: There are discrepancies regarding the size of the Death Star II, which has generated some controversy. The West End Games RPG initially claimed that the second Death Star had a diameter of 160 kilometers. The majority of Expanded Universe material since then has repeated this number, although the Inside the Worlds of Star Wars Trilogy fact book, via detailed scaling of the station in the film and statements by ILM visual effects designer Richard Edlund, show that the second Death Star was actually over 900 kilometers in diameter. The Official Site's Databank updated its article in 2008 to reflect the higher number. Star Wars Insider 105 also included this size. The specifications above may hold some discrepancy as well; these figures are for the "incorrect" undersized version. They would be closer to what would be carried by the first Death Star. The proper figures for the second Death Star may be several orders of magnitude higher. So, even a bit bigger than what I said... George Lucas doesn't care, but his company does, so what ILM says about it (They built it, dude) goes. Also, Halo Ring beats Fulbtz Berrentzs... By a magnitude of 10....

*Cue Will Shatner voice* You. Make me. Lol.... March. -
... Death Star X1 (Skeletal Prototype at the end of "Revenge of the Sith") 20km Death Star X2 (Small prototype with planetary ion gun) 90km Death Star (Full-scale planet-destroyer with 8-tributary-superlaser) 160km Death Star 2 (Full-scale planet-destroyer with 9-tributary-superlaser) 900km Those are official. Further, the Halo Rings are 13000km across, and Niven's ringworld is massively larger. Then, Dyson Spheres are 120000000 km in diameter, If I'm not mistaken. (Earth's orbit, was it?) Don't tell me that the Death Star is smalleer than it is. I know these things by heart.

Firing the gunpod in fighter mode-- dangerous?
SchizophrenicMC replied to Syngyne's topic in Movies and TV Series
Almost? It IS longer... However, gunpods are modular attachments that can basically be wielded by any VF. So, the shorter pod on a 25 could be used by a 27 and crash into itself. I never said it was using its Quantum Beam cannon. -

Hyperdrive: Non-instantaneous, prevents time dilation with some sort of device in the hyperdrive. Warp: Non-instantaneous, prevents time dilation by warp physics. (AKA, somewhat ok FTL Abuse) Slipspace: Non-instantaneous, prevents time dilation in some way I don't know. BSG: Instantaneous, no time dilation. Fold: Non-instantaneous, prevents time dilation by transferring into a sub-dimension, where time doesn't count. (Note, there is still some dilation, though not as severe as other cases.) What does this mean? FTL is a physic-less plot device used to get places faster and create a problem for people. Thus, FTL sucks. On that note, FTL is necessary. And ST has TOTALLY abused the hell out of Warp... AND Teleportation... -
List of must-makes: 1: VF-0D 2: VF-5000 3: VF-3000 4: VF-4 5: VF-27* *However, I'll have to settle for the eventual chunky...

Oh well... March, I always thought PMV needed more... Pimped Valks... You KNOW you wanna do a Nirvash VF-3000! I suck at pimpin' titles, so you make one: Finally, I come across a brotha' who ain't Japanese. This kid, Renton, says his ride got busted up real bad by some bangers callin' 'emselves Coralians. I never heard of 'em, but damn, they fu(|<ed 'is guy up. Barely left the body. Says it's got his girl, Owrecka, or some sh!7, real down. I told him, I says, "Look, kid, we'll take care a'it," and we'd have his whip a'eady to go in no time. So, he brings in what he's got. I don' know how he got it, but Day-amn. A 2013 VF-3000 Crusader. Dese things is big mothafu(|<as. He said he needed it to have 2 seats, bein' 'at he's doin' 'is for his girl an' all. Gave it a red-on-white paintjob, and those "Coralians" is gonna be sorry they fu(|<ed with a brotha'. Excuse me, but I'm not good at typing in black. Now, if it were Oirish, there'd be no problems!

Ach, nein. Sigged. -
Death Star II's still bigger... However, Nanase...

On the quality note, I export all of my videos in HD, so YouTube can show them in HD. Example: My (Still WIP) Macross Ace Combat Project can be viewed on YouTube in HD. But do upload a HQ version. I'd love to see it.

What mecha would you pilot?
SchizophrenicMC replied to dreamweaver13's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Me? I'd pilot... A BLADE LIGER! Zoids own! If I was a suicidal moron, I'd pilot anything from Code Geass, because Code Geass sucks, as do its mechs. It's like Robotech to a RT hater. I can't stand it. "It doesn't exist." BTW, Primus doesn't count. -
I like the 3000... But the 5000 is better... 0D For sure!
-
That's still nothing compared to the Macross Cannon. They stuck a zentraedi warship on so they could Zentraedi while they Macross. And, March, what is your language's major malfunction? ("Soldiers" in your quote got R. Lee Ermey stuck in my head... Damn you.)

Let me say this: 12 Gs, your neck can snap 16 Gs, your eyes can pop 20 Gs, your heart can stop 33 Gs, your brain can be crushed VF-25Gs, your plane can be crushed Should I sig that? -
On that note, he had originally had a third mode, "Ga-walk" for the tentatively-named "Breast Fighter". (Named such because it flew out of the chest of the Macross/Megar/load) It was somewhat ostritch-like. The floppy legs made him rethink his decision to not include it, and DING DING DING! Gerwalk.
