  1. I tried it once and it leveled the peaks out but left the overall volume at 50% of what it normally would be and I was inundated by complaints from people saying they couldnt hear it while on the train/bus, etc. Will probably give it another shot though. Thanks for the advice.
  2. No, it was on the original website, but since the transfer over the old content has yet to be reposted. Tim is, understandably, fairly busy with all the Yamato 2199 news at the moment. Once the series concludes and things slow down a bit after 2199 concludes in September, work on posting the old content back up will start, although given the volume involved this will take some time.
  3. Someone tipped ANN off ;-) http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/interest/2013-06-28/macross-museum-with-life-size-vf-1-cockpit-previewed-in-video
  4. Thought you would want to come on the 27th for the talkshow?
  5. Don't blame em on me man! I didn't vote for them in that order! f^_^
  6. Movie and some pics. http://www.asahi.com/culture/update/0628/OSK201306270147.html
  7. A bunch of new merchandise for the exhibit was just announced, including but not limited to: phone pouch, pencil case, tissue box (?!?), tumblers, cushions, pennants and coin/medal looking keychain thingies. These will be released over several different dates between today and July 27.
  8. The book has some reprinted pictures but at 980 yen dont expect any original ones. Its mostly a discussion of the Macross, creator interviews (Kawamori, Tenjin, etc), an essay on why Frontier was so popular, a chapter about Macross music, etc.
  9. I put most of the pics that have leaked of the exhibit (that opens today) in one place. http://www.macrossworld.com/5106/macross-the-museum-is-open/ It is unknown to what extent photography will be permitted in the Museum.
  10. Aaand... Macross the Museum is OPEN! http://www.macrossworld.com/5106/macross-the-museum-is-open/
  11. Macross the Museum is officially OPEN! http://www.macrossworld.com/5106/macross-the-museum-is-open/ Also, embedded footage from the event today. http://www.asahi.com/culture/update/0628/OSK201306270147.html
  12. Ah thanks for that. It wasnt coming up in my search results although even now it still wont actually play - possibly the office firewall settings I suppose, although its the only thing on the Manga Ent. website that wont actually play - weird eh? Spent some time with Ep. 2 on BD last night and the newly revealed detail just continues to amaze.
  13. Already have Bandais superb stand alone BD release of this but it's great that this classic will be available to a wider audience once again.
  14. Wasn't that taken down a while back, along with their Macross 2 stuff?
  15. Nothing of the sort has been announced yet although, given the logistics and the relationship between Tezuka/Macross and the fact that they are holding it all the way out in Hyogo in the first place - my guess would be that it's going to be another one-off event.
  16. Notice how this pic has mysteriously been removed while none of the others have? Whoops ^^;
  17. While this is only my opinion, I don't think theres a hope in hell that this will get English subs and theres not a single precedent to date (ie, a boxset on a 1980's TV series with Eng subs on BD in Japan) to suggest otherwise.
  18. Oh I'm not poo-pooing anyone in particular, which is why I'm speaking of it as a trend. All I'm saying is that, like reality tv or someing, its just something I dont understand the appeal of. A video of a display you've made? A model you've customized? Trying to play a song? Cosplay? THESE I understand the point of putting videos up of. A video of opening a retail product that anyone can buy online or at a shop, which doesnt include actual specs or review on the content or visual quality (ie, which is what people would be after if they were looking to make a purchasing decision)? I dont get it. Seems meaningless to me because anyone else can buy the exact same thing. But like I said, I'm not poo-poohing anyone. To each their own.
  19. They are Yamato leftovers, posed so that they gradually show how the transformation process works. Actually the main thing is really just the cockpit. With the valks being side-decoration. Its not a dedicated space or building remember - its an exhibit in another artists museum after all. Having said that, got my overnight bus tics and event tic for next month so Im all set :-)
  20. Macross the Museum. Although that version of the guitar has been on display at at least a couple of events before, such as the Parco exhibit.
  21. Its the Macross the Museum display that opens this friday. Don't you people read the front page or something? Sheesh. Sometimes I wonder why I bother. http://www.macrossworld.com/4799/macross-the-museum-11-vf-1s-cockpit-planned/ http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=39176
