No. They haven't announced the series name or release window yet. As we said on the podcast, given how little we know, it may well be next year.

Of course it's not. Which is why I said I was only speaking for myself. But it is also somewhat of an unspoken rule on these forums. Plus, you could get all four books for $50 or less if you really wanted them and were prepared to shop around a bit. But hey if you find someone else willing to pirate them for you then go for it I guess.

Chie Kajiura is planning to do a gig in Tokyo October. Details (date/pricing) are tba. The concert will be a combination Laboratory x Animania one, meaning we will get probably half Macross songs and half Chie originals.

I can only speak for myself here but the books are still in publication/circulation so scans are still off-limits imo. Besides which, all the related books (2 visual books, 2 novels) can be gotten on amazon and are not expensive at all :-)

Don't you freakin' DARE! lol In my opinion it's a coincidence. Of course, that's just my opinion at this point. Arcadia doesn't have the money for something like that. But more importantly, without severe re-designs to appeal to the Frontier crowd, a remake of the original wouldn't make the sort of money/popularity that Frontier did. Personally, I think its best to leave the past in the past. Theres few enough Macross series as it is, so I'd prefer original content that expands the universe. But hey, to each their own and all that :-) Oh and btw - Macross is trending right NOW :-)
