    Eh. Never had them nor really cared for any of the -Masters series. Except for Fort Max and this version...is okay. No waist guns or minibots. Eh. My wallet thanks you HasTak as I won't be buying this next line.

    That would've been hilarious earning him yet another reprimand. Was kind of disappointed that the rest of Walkure just stood and stared when Mikumo and Freyja started singing. Get up there and start singing too you lazy idols!

    I've already got MT's Inferno and Grapple with a PO for Backdraft. Badcube stuff is awesome so I'm anxiously awaiting Gears.

    Yup. Amazon had a damaged box for less then $100cdn(~$75usd) and I had to search multiple web stores to find a non-scalper priced Ripley. Got a Queen on the way too. Can't wait for Vasquez to show up. Might have to find a Gorman and an Alien if I get her.

    How so? Hikaru and Minmei is like riding a motorcycle fast. Hayate and Freyja is like bumper cars except motorcycle fast and 360 degrees of movement.

    Exactly. Hikaru flying in mostly straight lines with his mechs arm locked in a horizontal position vs Hayate spinning like a centrifuge and bouncing dancing are not that similar. Minmei at least had a chance of bracing herself.

    I'm okay with how the first episode turned out as I've said this show feels like an amalgalm of previous Kawamori's shows. The only thing that bothers me is Hayates Valkyrie fight scene. How is Freyja not tomato paste after being "protected" by Hayate from the bad guys during his rolling around on the ground break dance fight routine? He's holding her in his non cushioned giant robot hands, doing high speed spin and stop attacks, bouncing his hands up and down quickly. Freyja's wearing normal clothes, not the fancy songstress inertia dampening gear Walkure is wearing, her upper body and head are not braced in the hand at all. She should be at the very least experiencing major whiplash.

    I think Duymon is okay with silly but realistic-ish. Like what you do at work. Holding onto a plane doing hi-g maneuvers and having a transformation and movement of the busted valk be so smooth is another thing. Those moments feel too Basquash and Aquarion to me. I'm sure some of those "magical tech" costumes the Walkure are most likely wearing will explains some of the physical stunts they're able to pull off.
