I think Mikimoto should stick to the TV series (albeit with some twists, so as to make it stay fresh even for us old timers) but the flashback (if done a la Gundam Origin) are a welcome addition. What worries me is Mikimoto's unpredictability. I hope he doesn't lose interest in Macross and gets to the end of the story. M7 Trash wasn't exactly Sheakespeare, and there weren't even Mechas there!!!

What's on the next issue (# 11) cover? It is usually previewed on the last pages of the magazine. A new piece by Tenjin or some of his old works? And is the VF4 Battroid in color this time (I'm not referring to the M&M Red e Blue ones, but to the Hikaru one)?

1) the 1/100 Bandai Hi Metal upscaled to 1/60? 2) The 1/60 Yamato upscaled to 1/48? But seriously, enough is enough.

In the Tenjin Artworks picture there seems to be two new pieces not yet published, but I may be mistaken: Armored VF25S (fighter mode, I really don't remember if this was on the old Chronicle) and... VF30 Chronos (fighter mode)? Could be something else, picture too blurry to be certain.

Owww, this hurts, all the more since I've finally given up and bought the new chronicle issues from HLJ. I'm hopeless... : )

I've never been a fan of Misa, but It's clear from Macross TV that the real incompetent on the bridge was Global. I'm not joking. Until she melts for Hikaru, she's the only one on the bridge that has a certain grasp of the situation and knows what to do. Oh, and Ranka wins hands down the Miss Most Annoying competition. Mylene has her bad moments, but at least she's not just a jellyfish with cute dresses. And she CAN play.

No reason to watch them out of order (of creation): Macross TV, DYRL, Flashback 2012, MII, M Plus, M Plus Movie, M7 (and 7Movie and Encore), MD7, M0, MF TV, MF Movies I & II.

#6 has no new art - that I can see - but I certainly hope you are right

No v2 for me, I'm happy with what I have - besides, valkyrie-money is becoming something of an issue as of late. I can see why battroid (or gerwalk, if there is someone that truly loves that mode) can bother someone, but I really don't understand why the fighter mode hate. Isn't it beautiful and mean like it is right now?

Excellent, thanks! I fear I won't be able to resist much longer NOT buying Chronicle all over again. That VF0S armored in full tenjin glory made me giggle like a schoolgirl.
