    i thought that initially they were going to allow an SD card to be inserted for custom video footage to be displayed on the monitor.

    not sure for US shipments or other international locations. In Canada, the custom tax is $250. The smaller of the 2 boxes was shipped direct to the residence. The larger box had to be picked up from the Fedex center.

    good that the name Rick Hunter doesn't show on the canopy sucks the certificate shows Robotech/Harmony Gold. that's going to be stored away never to be seen......

    i could be wrong but this 1/6 cockpit scale might be on par with the arcadia release human scale gunpod from a few years past. I don't believe the gunpod was officially released with a scale.

    i am really liking the vf-1j and vf-1s preorder open already. wonder if it's going to be a 2018 release? kids logic has a history of lengthy wait time when it comes to product release

    Thanks for letting me know about BrickCon Seattle. I just watched an hour long video on youtube on Brickcon 2016 by Beyond the Brick. Some fascinating creations. The castles are just mind blowing. I love that people make these videos to share with others. It's really why I do it myself. Tough part for me is having the three kids to follow around which prevents me from taking the lengthy shots.

    thanks for all the comments! the three Macross helmets on the left is by Yamato. I bought them back in 2009 i think the Gatchaman, Grendizer Duke Fleed and TV version macross helmets are all fan made props. These are not official releases The Yamato up top is by Planet Liberty.     The arcadia gunpod release had this same upside down/right side up decal and it confused the heck out of me. Now that i see it on this model, I thought this was the correct setup. But you're right about it not being depicted in the tv series or DYRL. Still confused...

    did anyone notice that the 'UN SPACY' on the gunpod is upside down on one side and right side up on the other. is this the accurate representation?
