Heh, the replies I've have read are humorous! In the latest ep of YUKIKAZE, the Mauve has been upgraded with new engines. Engines that seem to multiply its speed TENFOLD! I believe ANY aircraft with an onboard AI would be a tough match for the VF 0. While the VF 0 can land VTOL style, cuz of its Gerwalk mode, the MAUVE does an impressive simulation of it, AND IT DOESN'T TRANSFORM! Check out YUKIKAZE #4 and you'll see what I mean! In reality there IS A rivalry going on between the makers of YUKIKAZE and MACROSS 0, but it is a friendly one. There have been numerous articles and how both teams, know of the others achievements and in turn push themselves to come out with something better! Someone said the winner in all this is the fans that see amazing designs in even more amazing animation! Thanks for keeping it civil NOW LET ME GO CALL SEARCH AND RECUE, SO THEY CAN FISH OUT ROY FROM THE WATERS!!! HEEHEE

heh, I wonder if the reason no one has said otherwise over the YUKI vs MAC and have instead veered the topic to beer ( which last i checked, isnt ANIME) proves that the VF0 is inferior to the MAUVE! Oh well Just having fun guys!

While the FRX-00 Mave lacks transforming capabilities, it's onboard AI and agile abilites would splash the VF-0 in seconds! You also have to take into account that it can hack into other jet operating systems, so it would probably screw with the VF-0's mode chaging commands before turning it into a smoldering pile of metal. SORRY ROY! THERE'S A NEW BOY IN TOWN!

I LOVE THIS BOOK! ( even though its release is like 2 months late!) It's wierd to see them say the story continues 3 months after the events of the 1st movie yet in one frame, a magazine is shown with a 2004 date! I am a BIG GHOSTBUSTERS fan since the movie ( which BTW- marks its 20th anniversary this year!!!!) so to see this new comic come out makes me happy! GB fans should also take note that new toys will soon debut. They have already released both SLIMER and STAY PUFT MARSHMELLOW MAN bobblegheads, though these are more like bobbleBODIES!! I have the SPMM one and its base of destroyed cars on a messed up street is cooool! And just last week I picked up the 1/21 scale die cast ECTO 1!!!!! hmmm, me- obseesed? you think!

I LOVE YUKIKAZE! The designs are borderline between fantasy and reality so this goes out to YUKI fans! design your own fighter, may it be from the FAF or a JAM. I'll start by contributing this!

WOW! BEING QUOTED IN A MACROSSWORLD FORUM! (should I be blushing or fearful? heh JK) This reminds me of an illustration Alex Ross did in where he did a storyboard of a commercial that had the new generation star trek cast, drinking beer! Artists draw pieces that are never meant to be taken as a true representation of things. It provides an artist with practice so they are able to draw anything that might come along. The mistake was in DC COMICS running the piece as part of the description for the upcoming issue.

Hmmmm, similar to the VF-4? Sorry ,but the only similarities I see is that both are aircraft. The YUKIKAZE looks like a much bigger bird than the Lightning, and could handle waay more Gs than the VF-4. I bought the YUKIKAZE model as well, but since I have no place to showcase it, its is safely tucked in its box! I would've bought the MAUVE but dang it is so expensive!!!
