You know what i want? I want a VF-4 "booby duck" variant to come out of no where piloted by the second, last, and only other true skull leader. Behind Hikaru i want Captain Misa leading a fleet of UN Spacy zentradi battleships. I want a big heroic battle scene with some Minmei music. In anime/magna terms this would be the closest thing in macross to fanservice.

Time to end the gunpod issue now. Horay Froating Head and i suspect many macross fans think giant robots swinging 6 blazing barrales is cool.

Reason for Gunpods 1. A hand held weapon can be used by any valk. So if one valk is empty and his buddy gets cannonfoddered he can grab the still intact gunpod from the wreackage and continue to fight. 2. The technology has to be insanely cheap and reliable by 2050. Don't fix what isn't broken. 3. The physics of dense mass hitting something at high speed can never really be fully protected against. 4. Energy weapons on the other hand can be shield against and or disapaited

Just something from episode 15 when we see Sheryl on the Spaceliner in the chair it looked like someting from Ghost in the Shell. It just looked like Sheryl's "ghost" was downloaded into the body. If cyborgs and people with implants are the rule and Frontier is the exception then Grace and Co might have spread a virus on the GNN. Everyone in the NUNG sphere of infulence might only think they have seen Sheryl on tour. Sheryl might be completely organic but i think she is some sort of AI.

Ok so did Sheryl actually tour anywhere else? we know that Frontier was the end of her intergalactic tour. But from what we have seen in episode 15 she was downloaded into her body on the flight to Frontier.

Gamlin is part of the triangle so her gets core character status. Max was a later introduction and not part of the macross love triangle. Basara... well Basara would try singing and since none of the pilots are protodevlin/uncultured zentradi he would get blow out of the sky by a Reaction missle or a Macross missle massacar. Roy as good as he is not in their for the same reason Ozma isn't.

Simple question. each pilot listed is the heroic pilot of their respective macross story. No Maxmillian because he is a supporting character. No Basara because he was the pop idol of that story. No Guld because he was the rival. No Ozma because he is the elder/mentor figure. Each pilot will be in their respective hero mode valk. Hikaru gets his VF-1S (booby duck) with all the strike goodies. Isamu and his YF-19 loaded for full battle. Gamlin gets his stealthy VF-17. Alto has his VF-25 with Armor Pack. Simple situation all 4 meet in space around a ringed palent with zentradi ship wrecks and asteriods in orbit and slug it out. I'm rooting for Hikaru because he has Macross sized ship worth of luck on his side (the zentradi always seem to fly in front of his gun fire *boogle*.)
