Ai-kun IS a Vajra... it's been hinted for a long time now. First time was in episode 9 i think, when we first saw a Vajra egg hatch and 3 glowing eyes inside, then it immediately shifted the scene to a shot of the not yet named Ai-kun. In this episode, aside from just seeing the familiar green tail and fur when the egg hatched, you saw an Ai-kun on Leon's screen, togther with a red lobster type. And him tearing up paper planes is some nice foreshadowing

Don't think anyone's commented on Grace putting her claws in Nanase as well... such a development can't end well

I believe you at one point see "Minmei" in the actual show itself. Forget which ep it was but she has "Minmei" written on her door. Dunno , might count for something.

Still they survived being burnt pretty badly by them nontheless. It shedding their red armor skin... though the stuff underneath quickly became red too...

Protodeviln were never biological weapons. We never really got to see the limits of the Birdman. We don't know wether the Vajra are biological weapons or not ... (Well I guess the red and yellow Warrior drones count).
