Running away from Cavil's purge. Saving him much like Anders.

Indeed this guy is the most unique enemy in Macross that it is an almagam of Zentradi mechs. But I hope we got a more formal name than latest/ultimate weapon. I'm more inclined to think this thing is automated than piloted.

Interesting if it is. I'm getting the vibe that Shaishuuheiki are elements of reimagined Zentradi mecha. Upper fighter- Glaug Booster Middle fighter - Gnerl Fighter Pod Lower legs fighter - Reguld Its combined form to me is a looks like a Nousjadeul-Ger. If so this mecha must be at least as big as Konig Monster in battroid mode.

Well RDM was pretty adamant there are no aliens. So no. But I wouldn't make it past him making the thing the source of the Head Characters. Since the Head Characters are the closest thing to the Beings of Light of TOS BSG. The Colony could be the equivalent of the Ship of Lights.

Oh frak I did forget SK made Aquarion. If he designed this one then he has a super robot fetish for Macross. Macross 7 and Sound Boosters were pretty super robot-ish for Macross.

I have no idea but from what Ellen said that the colony is where she, her fellow 13th tribe and the Centurion went after the first war. I think they just found this place. Likely through the backtracking the 13th Tribe's route to Earth. The Cenrurions couldn't possibly built this thing during the war.

Well if you look at Macross 7 the idea of a docked military vessel to a civilian one never went gone. They inherited this function fron the ARMDs.

In Macross TV the first gen ARMDs were supposed to dock with the Macross but the Zentradi made it impossible. Note also the Megaroad Class also has ARMDs. ARMDs therefore can detach but their added firepower is better needed than being separated.

Yeah it was the frakking Star Wars debate that ended that. The last I posted there was the effects of FTL on a nearby ship to a Fold. I did get the feeling of a Golg Boddole Zer mothership with Cavil's Cylon Colony in the last ep of BSG. As for the wiki problem one might say citations could solve it but some do not like very detailed sources. I've had a dispute before on the deletion of references on Negima before as they relate to the mangaka's previous work.

Well I'm still waiting on the official dimensions of Battlestar Valkyrie. Interestingly the "Beast" Pegasus outsizes any Macross. The Macross Class beats the Galactice in width and height. Battle 7 and Battle Galaxy has greater lengths to the Galactica.

At least that intuitively explains and saves my sanity as to where Battle Galaxy fits on Macross Galaxy. It doesn't. Though looking at the chart a number of ships besides City and Island class they can pretty much be the main colony vessels for a fleet on their own. We got that Macross Galaxy is pretty much uniquely designed along with its very exclusive fleet of escort ships.

I was saying SDF, NMCV and SDFN are used on military flagships a few pages ago. Or else descriptions on top like New Macross Class Aircraft Carrier and Super Dimension Fortress wouldn't be used. Descriptions that relate to their military hull as Zinjo has shed to us. But I've noticed we are going off topic on this as the discussion is about Sizes not a debate as sketchley insists that the on screen footage is irrelevant.
