  1. The pictures and trailer speak for themselves that this would be a Macross Plus movie style of retelling as opposed to a DYRL version.
  2. Nah more like as the Metrons said humans still have a thin veneer of civilization. In Earth Star Trek history two events and two individuals made humanity shriking not to become like Klingons or Romulans in attitude. Kahn Noonien Sigh of the Eugenics War and Colonel Green of the Third World War. Both having superiority complex and Eugenics in their agenda. Even Kodos the Executioner of Tarsus IV subscribed to Eugenics theories. That is why people like Julian Bashir brings bad collective memory for humans in Star Trek. In a way Zefram Cochrane was the human version of Surak and Kahless directing the human drive to explore space. According to TNG Australia was the last country to join United Earth.
  3. Jim called him Johnny Since that didn't happen Sam does not exist in this continuity.
  4. They just lost their Battle class section no biggie. Mr. Wilbur Garland was creating an artificial crisis with Black Rainbow and Critical Path Corporation to better take over the NUNG. Aegis shot him down on Macross City. Course that didn't mean his cronies were dealt with yet thus Battle 13 as their final card. Battle 13's gunship range and scattering fire can take multiple ships. Instead of a solid beam like we've seen with other Battle class. Speaking of Battle class check out this one. Looks like a Meltran designed this one. Finalized design Looks like elements of the two initial sketch Attacker mode were used.
  5. You mean this right? So which one is this? Macross 3? Maybe Macross 9?
  6. VF-X2 mecha VF-11B Full Armour Boy they do like full protect armour in VF-X2. VF-X had the Strike Pack for the VF-1X Plus Valkyrie. (VF-1A version in white and Max colors) Macross 13 Fleet? Now it doesn't look like Battle 13 or Macross 13. Plus Three Star. So maybe Macross 13 fleet had two NMC?
  7. Ahem... George Samuel Kirk He's dead Jim...
  8. This is interesting... It would seem that Battle Galaxy's starboard and port cannons were based on rough sketch of Battle 7. If Battle 5 was a Zentradi design this one looks like a Meltrandi design. Also originally Battle 7 had a teather or energy hose pipeline. Another Battle 7 sketch but with more arrow like shoulders.
  9. Or Spock didn't expect this Enterprise to be radically different from his. Given Kirk and company's experience with the Mirror Enterprise which was pretty much the pre-refit Constitution commanded by Pike. In that universe Kirk killed Pike for command of the Enterprise. This alternate reality apparently has a distain for Jeffries tubes. Oh if you are wondering why engineering looks like beer brewery it is because it is a beer brewery. This movie is the last Star Trek that Majel Barrett worked on before her passing. In would be nice to see a version of her first Star Trek character in the sequel, Number One. Yes Star Trek's first First Officer was a woman. Though in this alternate reality the Enterprise was constructed in 2055. The prime universe Enterprise was commissioned on 2045 under Robert April. Oh with thorough research I have established that is in fact an Alternate Reality not an Alternate Timeline due to certain facts. 1. James Kirk had an older brother in the Prime reality, George Samuel Kirk. In the Alternate reality there was no George Samuel Kirk. 2. George Kirk was a farmer in the Prime reality. There are many references that James Kirk grew up in an Iowa farm. With exception of a time during his teens at Tarsus IV. Prime reality * March 22 (Stardate 1277.1) - James T. Kirk is born to George and Winona Kirk in Iowa. (TOS: "Where No Man Has Gone Before"; ENT: "In a Mirror, Darkly, Part II"; Star Trek) Alternate reality * On stardate 2233.04, the Romulan mining vessel Narada, from year 2387, engages the USS Kelvin, resulting in the destruction of the Kelvin and the death of George Kirk; James T. Kirk is born on Medical Shuttle 37 as it departs the Kelvin. (Star Trek)
  10. Basquash ep 7 VF-1 along with Ecaflowne among Dan's junk.
  11. Mission 10-B Out of Town Vindirance base is a West Point Class Macro-Training Base Ship Okay lets sort out the three groups mecha that I can tell. Vindirance Red VF-1X Plus - Mariafokina Barnrose VF-19A -Gilliam Angreat VB-6 Koenig Monster Destroid Tomahawk Destroid Phalanx Annabella Lasiodora Vandal Gunship Hatchet class destroyer Meltran Gunship Meltran Landing Ship Tank West Point Class Macro-Training Base Ship Black Rainbow Regult Battle Pod Glaug Gnerl Fighter Pod Black Feious Valkyrie - Timoshie Daldahnton Gjagravan-Va Land Weapon SB-10/10 Starwing Critical Path Corporation Red VF-17S (with Song Jamming System) - Manfred Brando Destroid Tomahawk Destroid Phalanx Roqual class submarine Meltran Gunship Wilbur Garland the UN officer guy behind Black Rainbow and Critical Path Corporation AIF-9B Ghosts (Mass production X-9 Ghost) VF-11B VF-22 - Wilbur Garland (Confimation needed) VF-19A -Syun Tohma Battle 13 From what I tell Vindirance are the good guys while Wilbur Garland conspiring with Black Rainbow and Critical Path Corporation are the bad guys.
  12. Well he does have three Roy Focker Prizes that were deprived.
  13. Brings out Isamu Dyson's file. Correcting the misspellings: Outer Space Science Force. So maybe a research fleet? It would be funny if it was the 117th Research Fleet. The year Isamu saved Macross City is the same year the 117th Research Fleet makes first contact the Vajra.
  14. Yeah Atlantic class attack ship right next to the Hachet class destroyer. All above Hatchet are seagoing or submersible. Hatchet class destroyer Also in the VF-X2 Moby Dick stage it has Attacker written over it. That is why I'm asking if there is a connection with the Vandal.
  15. Been going over VF-X2 videos and the Compendium at the Anti-UN ships. Am I correct to assume that the Atlantic class attack ship is the class designation of the Vandal?
  16. Frankly the claim that the new Enterprise is bigger is erroneous. Given the visuals it is still around the 300 meter range. Or else why do I see just two decks around the circumference of the saucer section. Ex Astris Scientia a source on on-screen Trek evidence makes a better argument than me. http://www.ex-astris-scientia.org/schematics/stxi_ships.htm
  17. Indeed if it weren't for the size Nero wouldn't have recognized it for the Enterprise even if radically different from the 1701 he knew from history. But as for the crew complement of this Starfleet it is overinflated compared to ships of the TOS era. The Enterprise, Constitution class, the biggest capital at the time had 430 crew members. The smaller D7 battlecruiser had a similar crew complement. Thus my surprise that the Kelvin, which looks like Hermes/Saladin class with a engineering section on top, had 800 crew. Klingons had what looked like their version of the D7 in the Kobayashi Maru. The way I see it with the Kelvin being closer to the TOS Enterprise whatever Constitution designer was influenced by the Kelvin incident or one of the major designers from the OTL was killed.
  18. The glasses is already taken by Doc Chiba. Good we will finally know how large-scale Mainland is. Also the answer if Battle Galaxy docks with Galaxy Mainland? (Externally or internally)
  19. VF-X2 questions. The compendium confuses me. Let me get this straight Mariafokina Barnrose with Vindirance are the good guys. The bad guys are Timoshie Daldahnton of Black Rainbow, Manfred Brando of Critical Path Corporation, and Wilbur Garland and Syun Tohma of UN Spacy.
  20. Eww... Did you just tell me Basara made the White Whale come? And we thought only Sivil and Meltrans were the only ones biological reproduction systems are affected when he is singing.
  21. Actually graduate Starfleet Academy in 4 years and another eight for captain. Normally given Kirk's gifts with an officer command route by Pike's estimate he'll be captain at age 33. Which is pretty close to OTL Kirk who took command of the Enterprise at age 34.
  22. Prepare for Doctor Chiba technical jargon. Zzzzzzz.....
  23. How about having a subpictures of the Super Fast Pack fighter mode/gerwalk mode and Strike Fast Pack fighter mode/gerwalk mode under the VF-1X Plus Valkyrie? Making them the optional equipment.
  24. One gripe I've notice is that Kirk was promoted immediately to captain by Starfleet. Now if this was DS9 cadet Red Squad behind enemy lines during a quadrant wide war, with the senior crew dead and they came out alive. (Which they didn't.) I would understand. But immediately promoting Kirk after several hours at command? TOS depicted that Kirk was the youngest captain at 34 but he had various assignments where he had to prove himself like the Farragut. TNG depicted young Picard pretty much like this Kirk. Only to have been stabbed to get a better perspective in life. But it did not mean that Picard wasn't a risk taker. As a young officer Picard prooved himself a number of times. But Picard did get command when the Stargazer's captain was killed. At the time Picard was lieutenant commander at age 28. Some materials like games and novels indicate he was given full command and rank making him the youngest captain in Starfleet history. Picard was in command of the Stargazer for 22 years. Even still Picard had several years of experience compared to cadet Kirk. Having the rank of lieutenant commander. Kirk was still a cadet that hasn't even graduated yet.
