Terminator Salvation, colon, Really Long Movie Title
RedWolf replied to bsu legato's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I heard one script ending is that Marcus did end up with Connor's face. That what everybody was expecting.. -
Ah well all I can is... Enjoy your tentacles.

Millia was an instructor at the Eagles Nest Training Center. Millia was also called Mother Eagle. I think her daughter Moa became an instructor when they were at the stealth cruiser Red Moon commanded by Max where Mylene was born. Emigration fleet wise West Point Class Macro-Training Base serve as training academy for new recruits.

Well some of them blew a SA gunship when they bugged out of Earth. UN Spacy's expedition to steal the Factory Satellite saw the wreck. Some likely became trouble makers thus the order Max had from Earth to destroy any rogue Zentradi fleet encountered. Chlore's fleet was under Bodolle Zer's command but did not participate in SW 1. They only got sketchy reports about miclones, Vrlitwhai turning traitor, and the transforming battleship. With Bodlolle Zer gone the chain of command of that Boddole fleet was in shambles.

Two words for no Ryouko Asakura. Course there is the backwards talk in the anime when Ryouko said Yuki loves Kyon. while trying to kill him. -
Its the same situation as Star Trek's Klingons. Before they didn't have head ridges then in the movies they do. Gene Rodenberry would have us believe they always looked like that. Shouji Kawamori liked the DYRL visualization so much that he replaced TV mecha with movie mecha. e.g. Queadluun-Rau, Nousjadeul-Ger, VF-1...

Klingons in that era were the racial obstacle that humans had to face. Klingons were always spoiling for a fight while the Federation were ready to take them on in a drop of a hat. The Metrons did say we had a thin veneer of civilization when Kirk spared the Gorn. Otherwise humans were still barbaric despite what they preach. Which is pretty much why Organians were disgusted by the violence on their own backyard. Forcing the two to a treaty. The Federation and Klingon Empire were analogs of the US-USSR Cold War. The Romulan Star Empire being China or North Korea.

Well it is still a long ways off to show Kyon's middle school friend Sasaki. Remember it is said he has a thing for weird girls. Kyon was pretty much like Haruhi in his fantasies (which explains why he is so genre savvy) until Sasaki corrected his thinking with logical arguments. -

Correct. Makes me wonder if Kyoani is going to show hints of the Anti-SOS alliance this season as well. Full on season three on them once volume 10 is published. -
Well Macross Frontier with Howard Glass, Leon Mishima and Admiral Perry did have look-alikes probably clones. Some say the town mayor who didn't want the miclone chamber taken by the military looked like glass. Aegis Focker is likely a clone of Roy Focker. Even Miss Flower Girl may be a clone of Minmay's Flower Girl. (Stalkings genetic?) Even Basara being the son of Hikaru and Minmay may be valid. Given if they had their genetic material. Macross 7 though doesn't feel to be clone colony. I get the impression with the soldier retirement home that the population is from the old Macross City or direct descendants of SDF-1 Macross citizens.

Disappearance is a too solid story not finish. I can see this season being Yuki centric like Charmed at Sight Lover. -
Unlike Zentradi clones of old which Cloning Synthesis made them massed produced soldiers with awareness, the clones which were produced after SW1 actually had childhoods. The reason why cloning was stopped is because kids were starting to get sick of the same diseases. This suggest a lack of diversity in the population. So around 15+ years after repopulation programs cloning stopped to avert further dangers.

Yeah pretty much. Aries mentioned he wasn't the type to join the war. Even pacifist Hikaru was expecting him to go back barn storming after the war. The Anti-UN wasn't above hitting civilian targets. Shin saw his folks wasted by Anti-UN soldiers. Even the base on Mars wasn't safe from the Anti-UN when they stole a Oberth class ship. Though I suspect there is more to the story considering Roy's connection to DD Ivanov.

Special forces in the Macross universe

Mio's a Basara fan? I thought she had different tastes than her death metal rocker father. -
USS Kelvin Tri-nacelle starship Double secondary hull starship These three ships appear to be of the same generation judging by the nacelle. It is said there is a two nacelled saucer Miranda class like ship but I haven't got a solid image yet. USS Enterprise Kobayashi Maru and the Ever Lasting Klingon Battlecruiser Too bad the Klingon scenes were not included. We would have got a more solid look at these battlecruisers.

Continuity is still being respected. SDFM TV story events but with DYRL and Macross Plus visuals. Also to not let a certain dead franchise from profiting from them.
-
Hmm... Could be about having one CAG and several squadron leaders under him who in turn lead their units.
-
Oh nothing just a Zentradi-Varautan conspiracy extracting Aggressive Spiritia from T-Crush players and using it to heighten the emotions and power of the Mind System user. Col. Bacelon was going to use it for a little Zentradi rebellion on Macross 7.
-
MBS?! .... When I hear that I thought Macross Broadcasting System. Lol Earthdash as a Macross colony world.

The name Skull Squadron may have been taken by Hikaru when he left with Megaroad 1. In 2014 Max and Millia were members of the Dancing Skull Squadron. Since SMS is a PMC they can call whatever they want with their units. Frontier's Diamond Squadron could be a homage to Macross 7's Diamond Force. It wouldn't be unnatural for different fleets to name their squadrons in honor of legends.

The writer of A Mirror Darkly said off-screen (thus non-canon) text on Archer's file, he died the day after attending the Enterprise's maiden voyage, which is 2045. For all we know Archer not going on that trip his life was extended. Also note that there are delays in designing and constructing the Constitution class in this timeline.
-
TWoG says the movie is an alternate universe. The established Trek continuity still exists. I myself chalk it up with the Mirror Universe in terms of divergent reality. This universe's history was different from the get go the moment Pike mentioned the Kelvin's crew complement is 800 (Constitution class crew complement was 431) and Kirk being born in space. In the original timeline he was born in Iowa and has an older brother who looks like him. Plus if we were to believe Admiral Archer who exiled Scotty in an icy post on Delta Vega for loosing his beagle is in fact Jonathan Archer, here in this reality he did not retire from Starfleet and go into politics as with OTL according to his file on the Defiant's historical database. (A Mirror Darkly)
