My take on Akusho is that it wasn't on the city development plan because it was the military that placed that island there. If I remember it right even Colonel Bacelon had a secret facility underneath it as well. (Macross 7 Trash)

Tonights ep has Daniel Jackson.
-
Nah I doubt the aliens who built that system is those aliens. On the Kardashev scale whoever built that solar system is a Type III civilization.
-
You have to accept the fact a regular viewer is not you and will not fit your ideal standards of being dependent on published materials. I don't watch Macross for the stats or trivia. I watch it for the story.

If some of the civilians were left on the planet I do wonder if they were also left with a communication stone. Cause you know being totally cut off is stupid.

No visual evidence that it isn't as bad as 80 years before where the sky is dark and apocalyptic. Total recovery to pre-Space War 1? No. But the fact Earth is livable compared to the depiction in DYRL says 80 years of progress getting Earth back to its feet again. Plus do you really think after the war they wouldn't try to bring back the environment? Thing is unlike you I see on screen evidence as canon than just relying only on published material.
-
Well if anything either the Pink Peckers or Akiko have a cabin in the woods. As for DYRLverse by Macross II's time the environment recovered.

Actually I though he was talking of the Varauta not Gigil himself. That guy Irina who caught and rehabed. For backstory on that Macross 7 Plus Spiritia Dreamming.

Question for Macross Frontier Novel readers. Was it mentioned Ozma beat the crap of Manfred Brando? (Macross VF-X2 antagonist president of Critical Path Corporation) I looked and compared the Japanese wiki and Japanese Macross wikia on him. The wiki article doesn't mention his involvement as investigation director of the aftermath of the loss of the 117th Research Fleet. In the Wikia article he is the investigation director of the 117th survivors, his harsh treatment of Ranka earned him a beating by Ozma Lee.

Because they actually Human not alien to begin with?
-
Can somebody tell what Rakutensu means? It appears to be the name of William Garland's faction in Macross VF-X2.

http://ja.macross.wikia.com/wiki/SV-51 Looked over at Japanese Macross Wikia too. Read through a Google translation. Looking at it the George Yamamori's Bird Human movie had a SV-51 with thermonuclear engines?

Just some rumors. http://www.rangerboard.com/showpost.php?p=...mp;postcount=50 Highlights Animated Series News: • The lions are sleek, and are recognizably Voltron. • There’s an expanded, interracial team. • All five post-Sven pilots are there (with a probable Sven cameo). • The show’s major villains will be returning. • Character design is vaguely reminiscent of (though not in a way I would say apes) Timm-verse DC. • The cartoon’s working title is now Voltron Force (not Voltron Panthera Force). • There’s an all-new voice cast. Movie News: • Neither the Justin Marks script nor the more recent Jeff Davis rewrite will be the shooting script; the production is officially in "reboot mode." • Max Makowski is no longer attached to direct. • Despite longstanding legal rumors and online rumblings, the Voltron property belongs solely to WEP. • WEP is working closely with Atlas Entertainment on the movie’s direction. • No actors are currently attached. • The likelihood of young children confusing Voltron with Transformers and/or Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers is something being addressed; it is WEP’s intention that Voltron be distinctive enough to stand out on his own.

I do have to wonder why of all places did Cavil put this near a black hole. It was perfectly defendible from where it was.- 696 replies

Did you even watch the final episode?! There are more people around Grace than those she was talking to. Do you really think when the Conspiracy would keep the pretense when they have control of the Vajra? The whole plan was to install everyone with implants for the conspiracy to control. From a story telling perspective and logic taking control of their population first would be among the steps before taking a venture where they will threaten and fight everybody. Every fleet and every colony. There are pockets of unimplanted individuals within Galaxy but once the masquerade is over those individuals would be forced to take implants.
-
Well implant technology is illegal on Frontier. It doesn't mean it is illegal everywhere else. The fact the entire Galaxy military forces are under Grace's thumb clearly states Macross Galaxy is firmly under control of the conspiracy. Hidden programs such as the Slave Mode of Brera would be like the root-kits used by the Cylons in nBSG to the Colonial's systems. Only in this instance it would be persons. I suspect Frontier's ban on implants is an anti-corporate espionage measure. Not that it helped them when they were already infiltrated.
-
Frontier episode 5 with cyborg implants being common place in Galaxy is mentioned during the date. Sheryl as her selling point is all natural. Remember Galaxy's overall plan was to turn humanity to a collective hivemind. Those who would oppose them would be exterminated. It would make sense that the conspiracy would consolidate first with their own fleet.
-
On another note I just learned of a game that named Lotor's robeast in the Fleet of Doom special. Lo-Tron What kind of naming sense is that?

http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=32796 BSG Thread There is also a Caprica thread. It's also a massive spoiler
-
Most of the population are cyborgs and Grace needed to flip a pre-programmed switch to turn Brera to a loyal guard dog. In his interview Shoji Kawamori said that Galaxy has a corporate run government. If you noticed their fleet is not exactly standard government issue.

There is the original Voltrons. Lion and Vehicle Voltron. First part is Lion Force then Vehicle Team then when the second didn't pan out as expected Albegas aka Gladiator Voltron was replaced with new episodes of Lion Force. There is also the Voltron the Third Dimension. Back at 2005 I think Kick Start tried to make a new Voltron cartoon somewhat based on the new comic. There was a trailer but WEP took them all off Youtube.

http://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/to...n-87339752.html Panthera Force? What kind of name is that? Panthera means the big cat family that includes Lions, Jaguars, Leopards and Tigers.

It wouldn't be surprise if these are customised refurbished Battroids. City 7 has customised construction Destroids.
-
Continuity.

Nobody knows. Did you watch episode 15? At the end of ep 15 where Grace is talking to voices in her head Galaxy Mainland and its escorts are shown hiding within an asteroid field.
